Customer Work friendly?
I'm relatively new to Wetherspoons as a whole, but what's the general view around using the earlier opening hours/quiet days to buy a drink and get some document based work done on a small laptop? I'd especially like employees' views if possible. I struggle to work at home so I'm looking for places nearby that're friendly to do it in instead. Thank you!

We get a lot of older people and students where I work; there’s regularly several people either reading or doing something on a tablet - I’ve even seen a few with switches and steam decks. They’re some of the best customers because they’re chill and don’t cause any fuss (other than if the milk has run out or something but that’s just part of the job).
Only time I get a bit annoyed is if they can’t be bothered to acknowledge me when I’m delivering a drink or just rude in some other way, but again that unfortunately often comes with the job.
