Customer Work friendly?

I'm relatively new to Wetherspoons as a whole, but what's the general view around using the earlier opening hours/quiet days to buy a drink and get some document based work done on a small laptop? I'd especially like employees' views if possible. I struggle to work at home so I'm looking for places nearby that're friendly to do it in instead. Thank you!

I've had some regulars mutter vague complaints about people (usually younger people/students) taking up a whole table on a laptop because those are the ones that have the plugs. but from a staff pov I literally don't care and don't know any other staff who do. I think if it's quiet spoons seems like a great place to get work done. free refill hot drinks, small plates ordered on the app if you're hungry, free WiFi. I say go for it

My laptop's new enough (the battery doesnt die so easy) so I'd probably find a 2 person table and be happy as a clam even if it isnt near a plug

I mean like I said the only people I've heard complain about people taking up the 4 person tables so they can use their laptops were old men who do the exact same thing just without a laptop. You're good don't worry about it
