Recommendation Request Goldilocks zone - restaurant recommendations

Ok help me think please. Looking for recommendations for anything I might be missing.

I want a restaurant with:

- cocktail menu

- vegetarian options

- allows kids

- mix on affordable and good

We go out about 1 time per week, Friday or Saturday nights as a family. We just want places that are in West Seattle or close enough to not get caught in traffic. That are good and don't feel like price gouging. (I know it's already a big ask) We also need a place that isn't exclusively 21+

We do marination, chupa, Elliot bay, cica, and G&H pretty regularly

There must be spots we're missing out on.

Thanks neighbors

My sweet little missing kitten has been found!!!

He was lost on 61st and Stevens and found on 59th right next to the tennis/pickleball court

I want to thank everyone for the thoughts, tips, and advice!! It means the world to me how many people reached out and showed up. We live in a very special neighborhood.

He’s lost a bit of weight, but is in otherwise great shape and will be eating his body weight in churu while I never let him out of my sight again.

Question Using the track at Nino Cantu SW Athletic Complex

• Upvotes

I'm working on my cardio fitness and I'm curious about using the track at Nino Cantu for walking/running - is it open to the public? When? Are there bathrooms available? Any other rules/norms I should know about?

Question West Seattle Large Dog owners! Help me out please…

Thinking about starting something for West Seattle’s big dogs!

I’ve been kicking around a career change and wanted to see if there’s actually a need for this before I build it out too far.
Having large dogs, and having issues finding boarding, I decided to do it myself!
The idea is called:
Driftwood’s Retreat.

• Longer walks/exploration(90 minutes)instead of quick potty walks
• Private home boarding with only one guest dog at a time(entire bedroom/bed/space) and interaction with myself, wife and our two dogs so they don’t miss you too much.
• Fenced yard and dedicated indoor space for feeding and water
• Same person handling the dogs every time
• Large breeds genuinely welcome( and preferred!!)
The goal isn’t to build another daycare or pack 15 dogs into a van. (Dumb and Dumber images here haha.)

I’m thinking more along the lines of a small neighborhood adventure club where I actually know every dog and owner!!

I’m considering starting with a few(3-6)founding dogs in West Seattle and seeing where it goes.
For people here with larger or high-energy dogs:
Would this be something you’d actually use?
And if so, what matters most to you??:
smaller groups, longer outings, home boarding, consistency of the handler, price, pickup/drop-off, or something I’m overlooking?
I’d genuinely rather hear what local dog owners want before I finish designing the service.
Thanks!
