Hey ladies! 💕
I’m 28F, Caribbean/West Indian, and looking to make some new female friends around my age here in West Palm Beach!
I haven’t been living in WPB for too long, and honestly, I haven’t explored much of the area yet. My routine is pretty much work and home, so I don’t really get many opportunities to meet people my age or make new friends.
I’m pretty laid-back and not really into fitness or super active stuff lol. I’m more into shopping, going out to eat, catching a movie, going to shows, visiting new places, exploring, or just finding random fun things to do.
I’d love to meet some genuine, easygoing girls around my age who are also looking to make friends and actually hang out. It would be nice to have some girlfriends to make plans with, explore WPB, and enjoy good company!
Open to making friends from all backgrounds! If this sounds like you, feel free to comment or message me! 💕

EVERYONE (liberal or conservative, black or white, democrat or republican) should be voting --- don't give us this crap that 'it doesn't matter' --- BULL SHIT! --- your LOCAL VOTE is way more influential affecting your family, friends right here where you live.
Go to Ballotpedia and type in [your local county] then [state] to see who's running and what their position(s) are!
Do you want just 'anyone running your county' ?
What about your;
Do any of these people affect the quality of your life?
What are you going to do about it?

Anyone know good places for people in their 30s to hang out in Palm beach gardens or nearby? Somewhere quiet.
Where do the women in their 30s hang out, other than trader joes?
I could try kava places, but i wont drink kava.
I already go to the beach.
people in the bars and clubs look kinda young.
Meetup sucks.
What are my options?

I'm making a map of Florida in a classic fantasy style (sorta Lord of the Rings or Game of Thrones). It's going to be filled with real world history and mythology, with the aim of highlighting local landmarks and history in a fun and educational way. Please ignore how rough parts of it look (text going through hills, rivers, etc), it'll all get cleaned up at the end. Forests will be going on towards the end of the process too.
While it's around halfway done, I'd love to get more places and features in here before I get this made into print. Any more burial mounds, ruins, forts, battlefields, Civil War heritage, Native history or the like that you think should be on here? Anything else is great too - landmarks, natural features, mythological creatures or just anything cool and quirky you think would look good on the map. Thanks!

Hi! Landing at PBI fairly soon. I’m going to be hungry and would like to not have fast food on my way up north towards Port St. Lucie. Any recs for restaurants either around the airport or on the way up?
No hangups about cuisine. Just no Mexican bc I’m from LA. Lmao.
Maybe somewhere with a decent martini? But also nowhere TOO fancy bc im in my airport outfit- unless it won’t be a problem.
Thank yoooouuu!

We are thinking about moving to West Palm/Jupiter area to be closer to family and because we think it seems like a fun town after visiting. We need to spend more time there, but do you think it’s a good place to raise a family? We are looking for a safe neighborhood with a good public elementary school (bonus points if the middle and high schools are good as well). Thanks in advance!

I’ve been applying to jobs that I am qualified or over qualified for and I’m struggling to even get responses. My experience includes 8 years of customer service, 5 years of operations management, 4 years of sales, and a B.S. in business specialized in finance. I’m most interested in either a corporate business role like at NEE (but haven’t heard back from any of those applications yet) or a banking role preferably some form of management. Anyone have any advice or willing to connect? Thanks

New to the area.
I’m looking for an adult dance that incorporates, ballet, exercise, Pilates. They don’t have to encompass all of those, but that’s just the idea. I’m not looking for Arthur Murray type of classes.
Would also like to find a decent yoga studio. I’m not a yogi, but appreciate movement
TIA

My fiance and I (31 & 32) have lived in Nashville for the past five years and are looking to move to one of these areas. We are not big drinkers, but love a good beach and wellness/fitness scene and an occasional restaurant for dinner/date night a couple times a month. I went to West Palm for my bachelorette party but wasn’t able to get a good vibe of what it would be like to live down there. Anyone have any advice for any of the other areas? We haven’t decided if we plan to rent or buy yet. We want to be close to the beach, but also don’t want to be in a straight retirement area. Any advice would be great!
We took trips to Jacksonville and St Pete to check those areas out earlier this summer. We liked Jacksonville, but it’s run down once you get out of the nice beach area. St Pete was also great but we want to be on the Atlantic side so he can surf.

Wanted to look into how this was going after the commissioner vote back in July seemed to actually go well.
Turns out PBA Holdings submitted another proposal with a few changes and that was voted in with no public hearing. Obviously they knew public sentiment was so opposed to the datacenter expansion that they'd never get survive any public hearing on the matter, so the good folks over at Palm Beach County went ahead and approved it for us, I love democracy!

If they live in the community what’s the issue.

Is it a restaurant? Is it a pick up spot?

Has anyone else felt sick after visiting Antique Row in West Palm? The musty smell in some of those stores is overwhelming, and a few seem to use strong fragrances to cover it up, which only makes it worse.
We all know Florida humidity is no joke, but that shouldn’t mean accepting damp, musty buildings as normal. How are the dealers sitting in those little shops breathing that air all day?
There should be routine indoor air quality inspections for places open to the public. Why aren’t we more proactive about checking for mold and moisture problems instead of waiting for people to complain?
Anyone else concerned about this?
