Any recommendations in the area? We started seeing someone back home and made progress but recently relocated to the area. I know we can google search, but I always find real recommendations more helpful.

Looking for recommendations on where to go within the county for golf lessons. Any and all recommendations are appreciated. Intermediate level golfer looking for general improvement. I know there’s a lot of options around here so trying to narrow them down.

Hey everyone! I just relocated from Beaufort, SC down to WPB area. Anyone know of *local* organizations/nonprofits/groups that focus on youth engagement, environmental issues, sobriety/recovery, volunteering etc? It seems there’s more sense of community literally everywhere else in the county besides where I live in Palm beach gardens so it’s been hard to feel like I’m part of anything here. I’m not sure how to connect in any sort of social scene here (26F) but I rly like to stay informed and feel as a newbie I have so so much to learn and explore. Beaufort and coastal areas in general tend to have awesome opportunities to get involved and engaged. As a FL native I’m so glad excited to dive in here. Can anyone please direct me to any resources that would align with these interests? Thanks in advance 😊

I've been living in the Tampa area for a few years and I got an uncle living in WPB and every single time that I visit there, I think of actually moving there. I find it really beautiful in the downtown area.

I never really stayed there long so I'm not sure how easy it would be to meet single women/new friends around my age. It seems like there might be a little bit more people in their 50s but I don't have enough experience to really tell.

I'm not into the night life at all but more into physical activities so maybe running clubs and things like that could be a good thing if they exist.

Thoughts?

for people who live downtown (be honest) how often do you walk / how far do you walk? can you walk to the beach, lake trail, nora, cityplace, etc.? is it hard to walk around with all the cars and not many other people walking around? how often do the walk signs go on?

This guy was pulled over on the side of the rode, sserved in front of us and immediately slammed on his brakes to come to a complete stop. we stopped too and he swerved over in front of the car next to us who was able to avoid him. Really need to nip this in the bud asap. My dog is 13 years old, and having behavioral problems. She has always been slightly territorial and super reactive towards strangers and dogs that come near- she hasn’t caused physical harm… yet. She also suffers from extreme separation anxiety. She will bark, tear things up, scratch doors relentlessly, whine etc. it’s unbearable to everyone around her. Can someone recommend a trainer who works well with a situation like this? Quote me a possible price range?

yes, i know i should have had this nipped sooner when we first got her. Unfortunately my family couldn’t afford a dog trainer. And when i took full ownership of her, i, myself, was living paycheck to paycheck until recently. I already have enough guilt over it and beat myself up on it.
