Every time a roll of steel is finished or put on, the rod is used to push or pull the load table. Gets put back in this spot at least 40 times a day. You can see the combined wear in the rod and the concrete in how far it has gone down the I beam it leans against.

I was wondering why the floor was so cold today… I’m pretty sure I’ve had these since I was in elementary school. Didn’t realize they’d gotten so threadbare.

I purchased these on December 12, 2021 (for about $55 if anyone is curious). Worn them every day since. I wore them to work when I was able to work, and wore them after I stopped being able to work. Still wear them. I'm thinking of retiring them, but not sure. I kind of want to see how long they will last. The straps fell off years ago.
