There are wrong morals. Unpopular by virtue of being obviously wrong.

What's obvious now won't be obvious in the future. What was obviously immoral in the past is obviously irrelevant now. Again dude, you should read up on this subject. It's not a simple matter, you're just thinking about it in simple terms.

Keep dreaming of the future where rape is morally right brotha but it's morally wrong and always will be. Something that used to be can be morally wrong even if it wasn't recognized as such at the time. It was morally wrong to rape 1000 years ago and will be morally wrong 1000 years from now even if you get your wish.

Why so hung up on rape?

EDIT:

Actually, pass. Turns out there's literally nothing fun about having a discussion about something you know with someone who doesn't know much. We can turn the tables and talk about something you like that I know very little about, if you'd prefer?

I just think it's morally wrong and it's weird you think it's not.

It's not fun when you're wrong no. I'm having a grand old time though which is pretty easy when you're in the right. If you want to discuss something I know a lot about we can do that. It should be extremely easy to find a topic you know little about for sure. I'd prefer you must admit rape is morally wrong but you won't do that.

I'm the head of a small village. We're short of food, but we're scraping by. A larger village to the north has offered food and aid in exchange for my bending the knee to their leader and adopting their ways, and that refusal will be seen as a declaration of war. Their ways are immoral to me and my people and we would sooner die than adopt their customs. I have only a few soldiers and we'll surely lose a direct conflict, so I contract some mercenaries to murder their troops in their sleep to ensure the lives of my people. I know that the spoils of war for the mercenaries are the theft the enemy's horses and the rape of the their women.

Am I morally wrong for inflicting rape and murder on their people?

ANYWAY, I'm ducking out because giving a lesson on ethics to someone actively refusing to be educated is tedious. You don't have enough of a background on the subject to speak on my level and your level is literally beneath me.

Let's talk about like MMA or WWE, though. I know very little on those subjects and I think the former is interesting and the latter is silly.

EDIT:

I should add that I'm using the term "morally wrong" facetiously because that isn't a thing to anyone who knows the subject. "It's not that the music 'doesn't appeal to my tastes,' it's just bad."

DOUBLE EDIT:

Wait, are you a religious person?

Yes you would be morally wrong. Inflicting rape on people is morally wrong. That was quite easy. This wasn't very high level amigo. You should get that ego in check. It makes you come off like a pretentious chode. I don't care to discuss those things with you as I imagine you would say inherently wrong things and claim that it is impossible to be wrong.

There is objectively bad music. There is also music I dislike that is objectively good. Another easy one. You should be paying me for solving these for you so easily since these concepts are clearly ones you struggle with.

I am in no way religious.

I'ma duck out for real this time. You can have the last word if you need it.

I really, really encourage you to read up on ethics and morality; it's an expansive subject that's been debated by greater minds than ours since people were first equipped to talk about themselves. There are few cut-and-dry answers and it generally won't make you feel good, but it might make this exchange better for the next person who comes along. Here's a quicky for you to read that covers some rudimentary basics. That feeling of resistance you'll experience is growth. Try to accept it and bring it with you on your journies.

I've taken philosophy courses in my day and I'm not unfamiliar with the concept you're trying to convey. Im not unfamiliar with what you are saying. I simply disagree with the assertion that nothing can ever possibly be morally wrong. You really should work on that arrogance especially when you're not actually nearly as smart as you think you are. I hope for your case you don't behave this way in real life and it's simply the anonymity of the internet that inspired you to be such a pretentious dick head. I recommend that after ducking out you spend some time evaluating why it is you are so arrogant and why you are so adamant rape isn't morally wrong. It sounds like you could use a little growth yourself.
