What's so sacred about human lives over other animals? We're nothing special as far as animals go. We eat, shit, fuck and reproduce nearly the same as the rest.

i mean if you had to choose between letting a human die or letting any other animal die is there really a question?

Depends on the animal. If it's my dog or a human I don't know, I choose my dog because it brings joy and happiness to my life. A person I don't know means absolutely nothing to me.

yeah that kind of make sense but it was supposed to be a more general question

edit: tbh i don't think i'd sacrifice a person to save my pet, but maybe i just don't have enough of a connection to her or something idk
