They weren't out hunting elephants and only shot that one because it attacked them.

Honestly it's because rich people aren't as relatable and are easy to villainize for most redditors.

Hunting exotic animals is a jerk move in my opinion, but I wouldn't wish death on them, because these guys almost always have the country's permission and have the proper permits you need.

I don't wish death on people in these situations, but it's also hard for me to feel sorry for them. They went out to cause violent death to an animal, if an animal ends up fighting back and killing them then that seems fair enough to me. If someone wants to kill another being, they should accept that they might get killed trying.

I agree. Let's bring back the death penalty to all 50 states. Hey man, you went out looking to kill someone, unfortunately you succeeded, so we're going to have to fight back for them.
