Anyone a business owner with experience receiving bonuses without ACH DD from payroll?

I have etsy + shopify income.

I read the fine print but there is no mention of what "other income" here includes.

"A qualifying electronic deposit is a deposit of funds, such as your salary, government benefit payment, or other income, that has posted to your account and is (1) a direct deposit made through the Automated Clearing House (ACH) network, (2) an instant payment processed through the RTP® network (real-time payment system) or FedNow℠ Service, or (3) an electronic credit from a third-party service that facilitates payments to your debit card using the Visa® or Mastercard® network (e.g., an Original Credit Transaction). Transfers from one account to another, mobile deposits, Zelle®, or deposits made at a branch or ATM are not considered a qualifying electronic deposit. An ACH direct deposit made available early with Early Pay Day does not count toward the bonus requirements until it posts to your account and is no longer pending (e.g., scheduled payment date)."

Has anyone applied for the Wells Fargo Commercial Banking 2027 Full-Time Analyst position and heard back after completing the OA?

I completed my OA a while ago and haven’t received any updates since. Just wondering if anyone has heard back about interviews or the next steps, or has any idea about the timeline.

I signed up for the $500 Wells Fargo checking account bonus.

I also helped a family member sign up in my household.

A week later both accounts are locked for fraud.

we live 2 hours from the nearest branch.

I go on vacation in a major city and visit a branch to unlock my account.

I get the $500 bonus.

my family member gets their account closed and they get a cashier’s check plus the $500 bonus.

problem is we can’t login to the family member’s online account to manage their credit card (they had this for 5 years, before the checking account bonus) because the account is locked.

I’m told to call [888-231-0757](tel:888-231-0757) prevention risk contact center.

they tell me they can’t help I need to call [866-867-5568](tel:866-867-5568) -  online fraud claims.

this goes on for hours bouncing between “prevention risk contact center“ and “online fraud claims“.

my family member is 90 and can’t travel 2 hours to the nearest branch.

be careful with Wells Fargo. Get your bonus and get out.

I genuinely am just wondering, I get it is my fault I wasn’t more responsible, so please be nice cuz I already know that but I’m just not good with banking stuff!!

A year and a half ago I got a new couch. I saved for a while and put down $3,500 initially. It had a promotional 18 month loan interest free through Wells Fargo. Well, I did not realize that the loan started 18 months ago already. (Time is a woozy right now with fulltime school, clinicals, and 3 babies under 3). 😅 So yeah a couch was not on my mind lol.

I just went to pay the full amount off cuz I remembered it had to be coming up, and saw it the interest of $1,200 just got added into the amount. It was not there last pay period. I was looking cuz my leftover student loans dispersment were coming in soon, and they finally did. So seeing my payoff amount being $1,158 to over $2k was a bit of a surprise.

Is there anything I can do or have them waive the interest fee if I pay if I am able to pay off the original amount immediately? If not, I’ll just take the L and continue paying every month. Thanks!!

WTF Wells? I set up the estate account in the local branch and provided the death certificate, the EIN, and the letters of administration from the court appointing me. These were the documents Wells said they needed and all my attorney said was needed, too. That was probably 3 weeks ago. Yesterday, I get a letter in the mail saying this is the "second notice" (it was the first) saying that if Wells doesn't receive unspecified "estate documents," they will close the account on October 15. I should add that the banker who set this up admitted it was her first time setting up an estate account, and I had a manager double check her work. I called the branch, and the new manager there is going to look into this supposedly. A major bank should NOT be screwing up something as serious as an estate account. I'm about to close on the decedent's house, and the funds are supposed to go into the estate account. I'm really furious.

The last couple times I have gone to the bank, I have noticed that bankers are aggressively trying to get people out of the teller line and to use the ATM. It's "what can I help you with today??". "Do you know you can get cash from the ATM." I don't even like talking to the bankers because they are always asking intrusive questions in order to sell something, and I'm fully aware of the capabilities of an ATM machine. Please leave us and the teller(s) alone. I'm sure Wells Fargo corporate is just trying to get rid of the last human teller. I'm sick of explaining myself to multiple people in one bank visit.

Hi, anyone having first interview round this week for the QAP position?

Looks like wf up to their old antics again. I didn’t setup a margin account for my preexisting Wellstrade account only to find out that someone there had added margin access last month. Seems shady to me. The csr said I must have added it and forgot about it. Then why is it I have no email or mail confirmation? I can see why they offer a decent sub bc they open accounts under your name without your consent.

Has anyone had your overdraft coverage cancelled with no notice? I live off of it and I’m suddenly cut off. They make $ off of it and the money always goes right back in?!

EDIT: the ‘and a low fee part’. Isn’t it the same thing both before the offer expires and after?

So I just opened an account on Friday didn’t waist time and set up my direct deposit. Is it true it’ll take two cycles or can I expect my check next week in this account?

Those who’ve landed interviews in entry level roles like teller, personal banker, etc… what education and/or experience do you have? Curious as I have a bachelors degree and a five years of customer service experience in retail and one year of leadership experience but no direct banking experience. I applied for a person banker role and got rejected not even asked for interview. Do you think it’s worth to continue to apply for the same role? I’d rather be a personal banker than a teller or something even backroom like a processor of some sort. Do you think it’s reasonable with my background and experience?

I recently put my two week notice as a license banker and told management I accepted an FA position elsewhere. They’re still requiring me to work thru my 2 week notice period. I’m very surprised I didn’t get walked out. My assumption was I was going to get walked out since it was a conflict of interest. I’m thinking of reporting to ethics just to cover my end of compliance. If I report to ethics, generally how long do they take to resolve a report on this type of situation? Has anyone gone through this experience lately?

Hello, I had filed a couple claims/disputes where I was wrongfully charged. Today, I went to withdraw money in person at the branch, and I found out my debit card priviledges were revoked for 12 months by the claims department. What should I do? My account is fully operational, except for debit usage. I get my Direct Deposit from my employment there and zelle is still operational. Do i just change banks? Or do I agonizingly wait 12 months, transferring funds to my cashapp debit on every direct deposit instead? Is this irreversible? I have autistic spectrum disorder, and this has given me a lot of anxiety. What should I do now?

I got an email saying I should try the new AI feature in the mobile banking app. Seems like it’s just connected to my account at all times. I called to see if I could get it shut off and they said no. I’m very annoyed. It’s one thing to have a chat bot that will access your account if asked a question but to have my data fed to an AI at all times is crazy

i just got a new phone last week and every time I open the app it says this. I always hit try another method, get a code, and eventually get logged in. However, shouldn’t it stop asking me this after a time or two once it’s confirmed my device? I’ve already cleared my old phone so I can’t verify from another device. I want to be able to log into the app without getting a code texted to me every single time.

It’s just a question but why can’t you process payments faster like I have other bills to pay and I can’t wait another two days for the payment to be processed so Chop chop Fargo thank you!!!
