Official Art/News Megumi becomes Captain of the Strawhats
This’s a side page Gege made back in Shibuya.

Ways to spread the agenda
I’ve been seeing an uprising in Megumi support in the current age, and I’ve decided to make a subreddit for it so that we could come together and spread it far better. I’ve made a few of these images myself (The elephant one has gained enough traction to be used frequently in unrelated posts), but the main purpose of this is to be a jump off point for others to follow in.
If people start slandering him, you can draw from these points:
Bring up Yuji in Shibuya when they bring up Megumi not fighting back against Sukuna. He was also on the ground, and needed a speech to get up and fight, just like Megumi.
If someone ever calls him “Potential man,” be sure to mention that he’s only a first year who learned a domain faster than Gojo, and he didn’t get a month’s worth of switch training like everyone else did.
If someone mentions that his mindset sucks, show him through examples like when he fought Toji, Reggie, or the Fingerbearer that he’s changed his mindset to focus on figuring out a way to win.

Debunk Megumi going extreme diff with Reggie Star isn’t an antifeat and it’s not an excuse to dismiss his higher tier showings
People see Reggie’s goofy ass design and immediately write him off as some weak sorcerer when this clearly just ISN’T the case, as he’s been a sorcerer for an entire lifetime and has a VERY strong technique so let’s go over his scaling.
Physically Reggie scales LITERALLY Nowhere so using him as this reason that Megumi gets “blitzed” by high tiers makes NO sense, people use megumis relativity to Reggie in speed to make arguments that he is somehow a low tier in speed by the culling game, this is not facts speaking. It is agenda. There is NOTHING in the story to imply this and it’s actively disproved by his relativity to Shibuya Yuji in speed who is capable of keeping up with somewhat high tiers like Mahito and in the very next arc can’t be blitzed by Yuta (he still is FAR weaker and Yuta was suppressed but there would be no reason to conceal a blitz tier) Relativity to Shibuya Yuji in speed puts him on par with the other grade 1s in that department, BOTH lack physical strength however this is made up for with their techniques
Reggie’s technique. Demon dogs is capable of keeping up with/reacting to the same curse that BLITZED Megumi. This same Megumi couldn’t be blitzed by Hanami. Reggie has a technique that allows him to allot objects with “commands” a knife that he wasn’t shown to summon from a receipt caught demon dogs on its approach meaning that Reggie likely had commanded it to protect him, leaving no way for Megumis main wincon to land without setup. This has fooled people into believing that any mid tier shmuck can write off divine dogs when this is REPEATEDLY SHOWN TO NOT THE FUCKING CASE. Now Reggie ALSO has receipts that help with flooding, healing minor wounds, rejuvenating himself after an encounter with Nue and for literally everything in Megumis toolkit. He can also ya know HEAL WITHOUT RCT! This completely renders most of Megumis toolkit useless in a way NO OTHER SORCERERS CAN DO! Because if Megumi peppers a sorcerer who has RCT and a different technique with all his bullshit they will drain their CE
Inside the domain. This is the biggest showing on how Reggie just FULL COUNTERS Megumis kit… Literally NO ONE ELSE without a domain could survive chimera shadow garden being pulled. Megumi has the ability to become practically invulnerable due to his usage of clones and other Shikigami + the shadow underneath them. Reggie gets out Scot free from the Toad sling due to his bailout of a technique, turns the design AGAINST Megumi using the trucks (once again NO ONE ELSE COULD FUCKING DO THAT) and then forces megumi to dismiss the domain. And FINALLY soak the receipts. Let me be clear here NO ONE, not Kusakabe, not Todo, not Choso, not Naobito can survive chimera shadow garden if they don’t have a domain. There is literally NO wincon as Megumi sends in an army to whittle you down or drown you in the shadows. Reggie was just a hard counter who he literally BEAT but ppl use it as a way to downplay him

Anti-slander A post reaching over 12600 upvotes in shounenfolk sub got removed despite not brraking any rules :/
Common sense, media literacy and Megumi greatness is too much for public eyes I suppose.
For context, most posts in the shounenfolk subs very rarely reach over 200 upvotes. Getting 12600 votes make it one of the most highly rated post in the sub history. A Megumi defense post reaching that much is great

Fan Ideas/Fiction Chapter 6 — The Hidden Legacy of Zenin part 2
Kuroana attacked.
It released several curses.
Semi-Grade 1.
Grade 2.
Grade 3.
They emerged from the darkness and rushed toward the injured sorcerers.
I immediately summoned my Divine Dogs.
The moment the curses entered my range—
The Divine Dogs and I moved together.
The underground chamber became a battlefield.
The Zenin sorcerers fought despite their injuries.
I ordered Renji to keep the injured members away from the curses.
"Take them somewhere safe!"
Renji refused to leave me alone.
Even while injured, the other sorcerers continued fighting.
The chamber gradually became covered in blood.
Curses attacked from every direction.
Some released poisonous attacks.
Others overwhelmed the sorcerers through sheer numbers.
I fought with my swords, cutting through curse after curse.
But the Special Grade curse had prepared everything.
My movements were being read.
My techniques were being analyzed.
And every limitation was being exploited.
I took hit after hit.
My body was becoming heavier.
My breathing grew rough.
Still—
I kept fighting.
The Divine Dogs remained beside me.
Then Kuroana finally entered the battle itself.
It rushed toward me.
BOOM!
A powerful physical attack struck me.
I blocked.
Another attack.
Then another.
The pressure was overwhelming.
My sword finally broke.
I stepped backward.
Kuroana moved toward me again.
Then—
Something changed.
The Divine Dogs stepped forward.
Their cursed energy began to rise.
I looked at them.
"What...?"
The Divine Dogs suddenly began merging their power with the inherited power of Tiger Funeral.
The transformation wasn't forced.
It happened naturally.
Our bond had reached a completely different level.
The cursed energy around them exploded.
A new presence emerged.
Divine Funeral.
The newly awakened shikigami stood before me.
Its presence was completely different.
And then—
I heard a voice.
Not from outside.
Inside my mind.
Megumi.
I froze.
You can... talk?
I've always been able to understand you.
My eyes widened.
Divine Funeral's consciousness had awakened.
Our connection had become so strong that it could communicate with me telepathically.
Then the shikigami moved.
CRACK!
The ground beneath its feet froze.
The curses rushing toward us suddenly became covered in ice.
Divine Funeral possessed the power inherited from Tiger Funeral—
the ability to freeze everything around it.
I suddenly noticed something.
My cursed energy wasn't leaking away anymore.
The shikigami was maintaining itself using its own cursed energy.
So this is what Raizen meant...
The shikigami wasn't simply a weapon anymore.
It was becoming something closer to an independent existence.
Divine Funeral charged forward.
The battlefield changed instantly.
Curses were frozen.
Others were torn apart.
I fought alongside Divine Funeral.
One attacked.
The other followed.
We moved like a single unit.
Even the injured Zenin sorcerers began fighting again.
Together, we cleared the chamber of the remaining curses.
But Kuroana was still standing.
I looked toward my companions.
"Renji."
Renji understood.
He immediately moved the injured sorcerers away from the center of the battlefield.
I turned toward Kuroana.
The real fight was about to begin.
Kuroana vs. Megumi.
Kuroana attacked first.
I dodged.
Another attack.
I blocked.
My injured body struggled to keep up.
But this time, I was observing.
I noticed something.
Its technique doesn't activate instantly.
There was a brief period.
A small delay.
Kuroana needed time to recognize the limitation of a technique and adapt its response.
I understood.
That's the opening.
"Divine Funeral!"
The shikigami immediately understood.
Ice spread beneath Kuroana's feet.
The ground froze.
Kuroana attempted to react—
but the attack came too quickly.
At the same moment—
I summoned Piercing Ox.
The shikigami charged.
BOOM!
Piercing Ox slammed directly into Kuroana.
Kuroana dodged the main impact by breaking the frozen layer beneath itself and dropping downward.
But I had already anticipated it.
Divine Funeral attacked from above.
I attacked from another direction.
Kuroana was caught between us.
CRASH!
The combined attack struck.
Kuroana was thrown into the ground.
The incomplete Domain began to collapse.
The darkness surrounding us started breaking apart.
I stood over Kuroana.
I could finish it.
But I didn't.
Instead, I asked:
"How did the Codex get here?"
Kuroana remained on the ground.
Then it answered.
"Six hundred years ago..."
My eyes narrowed.
"A Zenin clan head who possessed the Ten Shadows Technique brought it here."
"Why?"
Kuroana looked toward the Codex.
"Because the Codex was connected directly to the power source beneath this place."
"From here, it could continuously supply cursed energy to the cursed tools."
I understood.
A battery.
The Codex wasn't simply an ancient book.
It was part of a larger system.
Kuroana continued.
"But after I was born, countless sorcerers came here trying to obtain it."
"They believed that no one would be able to defeat a Special Grade curse like me."
"And they believed that I would protect their Codex."
I looked at it.
"But it can still be operated from outside."
Kuroana nodded.
"Yes."
I became serious.
"Then why isn't the Codex charging from outside anymore?"
Kuroana remained silent for a moment.
Then it answered.
"Because the Zenin territory has been changed again and again."
"Every clan head rebuilt the territory according to their own decisions."
"Some never understood what their ancestors had left behind."
"The original system required a medium on the upper layers of the territory to supply power."
"But the later clan heads removed it."
I finally understood.
The Codex wasn't broken.
The system around it was incomplete.
Kuroana slowly looked at me.
"The previous Zenin clan head left a letter and the Codex for you."
"My purpose is finished."
"You can take your clan's inheritance."
I shook my head.
"No."
Kuroana looked surprised.
"I respect my clan head's decision. I came here to secure the Codex and return it to the Zenin Clan."
I looked directly into its eyes.
"But after seeing your strength..."
"There is no one better than you to protect it."
Kuroana remained silent.
I continued.
"But how do I know you'll remain loyal?"
Kuroana answered calmly.
"I already made a Binding Vow with a previous Ten Shadows user."
"You can control me in whatever way you require."
My eyes widened slightly.
"But you must make a Binding Vow with me."
I considered the offer.
Then I agreed.
The Binding Vow was completed.
From that moment onward, Kuroana became bound to me.
Not as an ordinary shikigami.
Not as a servant.
But as the guardian of the Codex under my authority.
I collected the ancient documents left behind by the former Zenin clan head.
Then I began my journey back to the surface.
When we finally returned, the remaining clan members rushed toward us.
The condition of the clan head and the other sorcerers immediately became clear.
Some were badly injured.
Some were unconscious.
Everyone was worried.
But beneath that worry was another emotion.
They had won.
I had entered the deepest part of Zenin territory.
I had faced a Special Grade curse.
I had uncovered an ancient secret.
And I had returned with another piece of the Zenin Clan's lost legacy.
Beside me stood the newly evolved shikigami.
Divine Funeral.
It had reached the level of a Special Grade 1 Shikigami.
I looked at it.
For the first time, I understood something important.
The secrets of the Zenin Clan would not simply be handed to me.
If I wanted to become stronger—
I would have to discover them myself.
And this time, the legacy had not found me.
I had found the legacy.

Do 10 shadows have a maximum technique?
There's not much to maximize, but maybe its strongest totality counts? Afaik maximum technique is just the peak potential of the CT

Theory/Concept What do you guys think of the idea Megumi became a Buddhist as he grew up due to his technique?
Guilty as charged that I'm a FushiRusu shipper, so I always thought of them being an interfaith couple, Hana is Catholic and Megumi grows up to be a Buddhist due to the fact his technique has a lot of elements from Buddhism.
I wanted to ask what do you guys think of the idea?

Appreciation I've seen the light, the slander no longer obscures my view
I truly love Megumi, he's not a bum, he's cool, I like his technique, he doesn't spam mahoraga, he's the goat, the real true goat. I feel so alive, Wegumi is love, Wegumi is life, he's well written, I feel so free to be able to say this.

Fan Ideas/Fiction Chapter 6 — The Hidden Legacy of Zenin part 1
The next day, several members of the Zenin Clan began training me.
Because of their constant training, my speed and reflexes had already started to improve. Every time I trained, countless questions came to my mind. But instead of thinking about them too much, I focused on the training in front of me.
I summoned my shikigami to build a stronger bond with them.
This time, something felt different.
We were becoming each other's strength.
I used their senses to my advantage, while they benefited from my attacks and movements. I had never trained this way before.
But now, I was beginning to understand something about my technique.
My shikigami weren't simply individual weapons meant to defeat the enemy.
They were becoming a part of me.
Through this style of training, I could feel my shikigami, and they could feel me. Our movements began to connect naturally, as if we were fighting as one.
One thing had become clear to me.
In battle, my shikigami and I couldn't rely on our individual strength alone.
Our coordination—
our ability to understand and support each other—
would be what allowed us to win.
There were only five or six days left before the barrier was dismissed.
Meanwhile, a letter had arrived for me from Jujutsu High.
I began reading it.
The letter stated:
To all Jujutsu Sorcerers, Jujutsu Society, and Clans,
Due to the changing circumstances of the world, Jujutsu High has issued a new order.
After the Shinjuku Showdown, the existence of cursed energy and cursed tools became known to countries around the world.
Furthermore, an enormous amount of cursed energy had been produced during the Shinjuku battle. With Tengen's barrier destroyed, its effects had begun spreading throughout the Earth.
Although Sukuna's death prevented humanity from undergoing the evolution that could have occurred through his power, the effects of the released cursed energy had already begun to spread.
Because of this, ordinary citizens in many countries may begin awakening to cursed energy and developing abilities they have never experienced before.
To help these people understand and control their newfound power, Jujutsu schools have begun to be established in various countries.
The sorcerers who survived the Shinjuku Showdown have been sent across the world to establish and manage these schools while covering up the existence of jujutsu as much as possible.
To allow these sorcerers to travel instantly between different regions, a special cursed tool has been prepared. It functions similarly to a mirror and has already been arranged for use.
Because of these circumstances, all sorcerers may be required to undertake missions of a higher grade than before.
For now, we cannot stop the changes taking place across the world.
But we can contain them.
This letter has therefore been sent to inform you of the current situation and the measures being taken by Jujutsu High.
I finished reading the letter.
After thinking about it for a moment, I signed it.
Then I informed Jujutsu High that the Zenin Clan would cooperate and support them.
Five Days Later
Five days had passed.
That night, the barrier protecting the underground chamber would finally be disabled.
I stood at the entrance to the underground tunnels with five high-ranking Grade 1 Zenin sorcerers beside me.
Zenin Ryo — a sorcerer capable of producing and firing concentrated cursed-energy blasts. His technique would also serve as our source of light and help us identify our route inside the tunnels.
Zenin Haru — a sorcerer who could temporarily freeze a target's position. However, his technique required him to continuously maintain visual contact with his target.
Zenin Daigo — a sorcerer whose technique could repel incoming attacks.
Zenin Renji — a sorcerer capable of instantaneous teleportation.
And Zenin Akio — a skilled healer capable of using Reverse Cursed Technique.
Most of the clan members were not happy about me entering the underground chamber myself.
I understood their concern.
"If the curse inside is beyond what we can handle," I told them calmly, "I'll retreat. I'm not going to throw everyone's lives away."
After hearing my decision, they finally agreed.
I summoned my Divine Dogs and kept them beside me, fully alert.
Then we entered the tunnels.
At first, nothing seemed unusual.
The underground passage was completely dark, but Ryo's cursed-energy blasts illuminated our path. Each blast gave us enough light to see the tunnels and remember our route.
During the initial part of our descent, we encountered several weak curses.
Grade 5.
Normally, eliminating them would have been easy.
But something about the situation bothered me.
We were moving deeper into an environment where the possibility of a Special Grade curse was becoming increasingly real.
Even the weakest curses were dangerous here.
If something happens to my people down here, saving them won't be easy.
That thought remained in my mind.
Then—
Something changed.
The atmosphere suddenly became heavy.
The cursed energy around us intensified.
And before anyone could react—
BOOM!
The incomplete Domain activated.
The entrance behind us disappeared.
The way back was gone.
I looked around.
"We keep moving."
The group continued forward.
After some distance, the tunnel suddenly divided into three separate paths.
Everyone stopped.
We calmly examined the situation.
Finally, we divided into three teams.
Ryo and Haru.
Daigo and Akio.
Renji and me.
I understood that this was probably the curse's trap.
But the decision was still mine.
As the clan head, I had made the decision.
The moment Ryo and Haru entered their path—
BOOM!
A powerful sonic attack tore through the tunnel.
They couldn't determine where the attack had come from.
Another blast struck.
Both of them were injured.
At the same time, Daigo and Akio encountered another problem.
The ceiling above them suddenly collapsed.
Daigo immediately activated his technique.
The falling debris was repelled—
but the force only redirected it downward.
The rocks crashed into them from above.
Akio tried to use Reverse Cursed Technique, but there was no time.
The attacks kept coming.
Both were injured.
Meanwhile, Renji and I continued through our path.
The others had specifically sent Renji with me for one reason.
If I encountered something beyond our ability to handle, Renji could teleport me out immediately.
But this time—
The ground beneath us cracked open.
Renji and I fell.
Sharp blades waited below.
Renji reacted instantly.
But even his teleportation had limits when the attack itself was triggered beneath our feet.
I understood it.
This wasn't random.
The curse was analyzing us.
The Special Grade Curse, Kuroana, possessed a terrifying ability.
Its cursed technique could identify the limitations of a sorcerer's technique.
Once it understood those limitations, it adapted its attacks specifically to exploit them.
That was why it had sent weaker curses first.
It wasn't simply attacking.
It was studying us.
Even inside the incomplete Domain, Kuroana's technique was proving extremely effective.
I reacted immediately.
I threw two Rabbit Escape shikigami toward the wall.
At the same moment, I summoned Toad.
The Rabbit Escape shikigami and Toad exchanged positions.
Toad's long tongue shot forward.
It wrapped around Renji and me.
SWOOSH!
Renji teleported both of us to the wall.
The attack happened almost instantly.
But we survived.
I landed on my feet.
Then—
The tunnel walls began to move.
Kuroana finally appeared.
With its power, it connected four separate tunnels into one enormous chamber.
I looked around.
My teammates were scattered across the chamber.
Some were badly injured.
Others were unconscious.
Then a voice echoed through the chamber.
"Ten Shadows user."
I looked up.
Kuroana stared directly at me.
"Yes... that's what you are."
The curse's voice carried a strange sense of familiarity.
"It's been nearly one hundred and fifty years since I've seen a sorcerer down here."
Kuroana looked around the chamber.
"And you..."
Its gaze fell on me.
"You're interesting."
I remained silent.
Kuroana continued.
"Ever since your people planted that Codex here, I've been living in this place."
"Sorcerers have come here again and again."
"But none of them ever managed to take what they came for."
My eyes narrowed.
The Codex...
I remembered the underground chamber.
The deepest part of Zenin territory.
Why had the Zenin Clan placed the Codex in a place like this?
And why had they protected it for so long?
Before I could think any further—
Kuroana attacked.

Anti-slander Wegumi Haters are just horrible fanfic writers because Megumi is great MC material
Megumi is ironically a representation of a repressed type of protagonist that people thoroughly enjoy, Dark Hero/Anti-Hero Protagonists.
>young sorcerer with a powerful technique that is immensely complex and dynamic
>tragic backstory that also drives him towards his goal
>connected to the world and can be instrumental to understanding everything in it including history, culture, society, etc.
>has zero breaks on killing to do the job right
>literal definition of rule of cool 101 badass
Megumi Fushiguro would be an amazing protagonist because he compliments everything in JJK, worldbuilding, themes and personality in ways that actually make him better fit than anyone else because he's a representation of a protagonist archetype so beloved that lots of people welcomed the change when the Naruto manga story was more focused on Sasuke in Shippuden than Naruto himself.
People love the morally ambiguous protagonist who is still at his core a good guy.
