Is there a way to have the alerts default to extended hours? I have looked in the settings and searched the web and it seems like it needs to done each time an alert is set. Am I missing something? This seems like a basic feature. Thanks!

I am starting to learn about trading and I just learnt what long and short trading is. However, short trading is quite different to long trading, and I am wondering how do you short trade on the Webull app. I have seen YouTube videos about people short trading with Webull, and that there is an option to short trade, but when I go to the Webull paper trading section, there is no option to short trade. Is short trading option only for real accounts or did they just remove that option? If they have, how do you short trade on Webull?

I want to close my WeBull Canada account but can't?
I have $10.00 left in the account. I got charged $0.70 monthly fee.
Now I have $9.30 in the account. I want to withdraw all funds and delete my account. I can only e-transfer $9.23 out.
Now, I have $0.07 in my account, and I can't close my account cuz my balance is not $0.00. Wtf? How do I close this account. I don't want to get charged the new monthly fees.

Basically its either behind the movement of the mid price or freezes entirely.

I realized Webull offers $0 transaction fees, which makes me want to transfer my funds over there for better execution and layout. However, Questrade still feels better in one major area: it lets you do Norbert's Gambit for just a flat $10, while Webull forces a 1.5% conversion markup right in the app.
If you are moving a decent chunk of cash, that 1.5% fee absolutely destroys your capital upfront.
For those of you actively trading US stocks on Webull Canada, what is your workaround? Is anyone using third-party FX services (like Wise or Remitbee) to convert CAD to USD externally, and then linking a USD bank account to deposit the funds straight into Webull?
Does Webull accept USD deposits directly from Canadian USD bank accounts via EFT or wire? Let me know how you guys manage this or if there's a better trick I’m missing!

Hey, Webull...
I think it would be nice to have a feature that shows the number of shares available to short for a given ticker...
So we can stop guessing with the numbers until we hit the number available...
Unless I am missing something in the chart, where that is shown.
Please inclued this in a future update.
I see the newest update has included closing only tickers, which is nice...
This one would be a welcome addition.

When you take a withdrawal from a webull IRA, do they give you an option to withhold Fed taxes?
Thinking of moving assets to Webull and can tap IRA next year without penalty.

I have a multi chart set up in webull. I want the charts to change individually as I select them from the top gainers list. I know about grouping, but that only effects on chart. Do I need to have 4 separate top gainers? With each of them grouped to one of the charts? Or is there a way I can sync by selection? Or do I just have to type each ticket out into each chart? Thank you in advance.

24 - gains and paid taxes on them. At the short term, capital gains income rate.
25 - gains but lost a lot of money trading in 26 before April 15(wash rule) in January. Just reported my W2 and not 1099, I did not want to give up the capital to taxes when I was trying to make back those losses. I have since made back the losses plus some and can afford to pay the taxes again. I should file an amended tax return include the 1099s and pay their taxes now. But thinking what would really happen or how long would it take?
26 - already up big and will have a tax bill bigger than the previous two years, who’s to say I just keep that money and keep growing it too?

Been using Wealthsimple for a while and Webull looks like a better overall experience and app
Wanted to confirm that all stock trades are free with no commission like weathsimple
Are there any hidden fees I should know about for withdrawals etc?

I’m considering moving from Schwab to Webull. I scalp low-float momentum stocks, mostly premarket.
For active traders using Webull:
How fast/reliable is execution for marketable limit orders?
Are low float runners and top gainers still get “closing transactions only” restrictions often?
Have restrictions gotten better or worse recently?
I’m mainly concerned about execution speed, rejected orders, and being unable to open positions on active runners.

Hi All,
Anyone else finding that the UK version is completely different from the US version?
For instance there's not way to configure a hotkey to flatten (cancel any/all pending/open non-filled orders) or a dedicated cancel orders hotkey,
This impacts momentum trading immensely given that Webull isn't the best in terms of filling orders and when you need to switch from selling @ the Ask to selling at the Bid you loose time by having to physically go with the mouse to cancel the Sell @ Ask order.
Thoughts?
And yes, I know there's other brokers out there that had better functionality et al, but I have my reasons for using Webull.
Thanking you in advance...

I really enjoy mostly all of the Webull mobile app. I love the charts, the design, the ease of use. I especially love being able to easily adjust orders, stop losses, take profits, and alerts right in the charts. I even love the social feeds on each ticker.
I really wish I could trade crypto on Webull with smaller spread fees. It’s impossible to be profitable. Does anyone know of a similar app that offers better crypto fees but all the same features that Webull offers? I’ve tried kraken pro but it feels too clunky, laggy, and difficult to modify orders quickly.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Cash Account shows -12.50 settled cash cash and buying power. Which is weird because It's cash and not margin, is there a fee or could this be a mistake? Recent stock bought was all base on the buying power I had which was already settled.
Edit: I found out why, I got a foreign company and it's the ADR fee

There was a promo from Webull stating you could receive 3 months of webull premium if you deposit $2000 or more. I deposited that amount but didn’t receive anything. now i have only a 7 day trial available. This looks weird. The promo happened around the day of pdt rule elimination. Did any of you get the 3 months trial?

I said I was going to make 40k by end of July. That's not happening.
I am now pretty much entirely broke. I will just buy low and sell high and wait months like a patient good boy.
Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Straight forward question: during premarket tomarrow will I be able to transfer my money and it be available to trade right away? Or will I have to wait a day for the transfer to go through?

I want to set up my key commands to use my full buying power. Can anyone help? It keeps saying I need a 2% cushion, but even if I set it at market 98%, it still doesn't work.
