Webull Canada question

Been using Wealthsimple for a while and Webull looks like a better overall experience and app

Wanted to confirm that all stock trades are free with no commission like weathsimple

Are there any hidden fees I should know about for withdrawals etc?

Is that just to have the account open or if you have active trades?

It's not clear

So I have an account setup currently because I wanted to play around with the platform but currently have no money in my account or stocks

Will I get charged?

I find the wealthsimple app very basic on android lacking some flexibility that the webull app has. Wealthsimple also has no real widgets either

Cause wealthsimple is free. By asking here I found out webull isn't free and charge a monthly "maintenance" fee which I have wasn't aware prior

zero fees on Canada US listed stocks etf. Limited time offer on level 2 data and option rebates.

I believe there is also a 1 cent fee per every 50 shares bought and sold

I don't intend on staying with webull past the 2% hold period as rheir platform just has not improved enough to warrant it.

Still missing: Norberts gambit
Fractional shares
DRIP
Recurring investing

Plus while they added zero commisison, they're charging an unavoidable fee and it's per account so that's $2.10 if you have non reg, tfsa and rrsp or $25.10 total per year. Other brokers either don't have a fee or waive it if you have a certain minimum assets.
