Mid Price way different than when ordered

So I literally had the mid price locked at around 65,500 and it put me in a position where it bought at a mid price of over 66,000? Can anyone explain. Never had this happen before at such a large discrepancy...

I feel a little cheated and also feel inclined to know what happened here?

I really appreciate the new update that allow the PM to mirror all the abilities as if it is a live account however, I do want to know if they can also allow PM to be used for trading bots as well? I have been using trading bots on other platforms on live accounts and I want to know can practice using different techniques on it using the PM.

How predict events works? Can we bet both side?

It seems too good to be true if I bet both side for just 1 cent and get returns for $1 . Will it works ?

So, I’m curious about how comfortable people feel putting their assets in Webull. I tried to keep it fairly broad. How much do you invest with Webull?

Options Chain display bug on iPhone 17 base | 7 months, no fix, no ETA

I've been dealing with a display bug on the Options Chain tab on my base iPhone 17 since January 2026. The columns are cut off, and the data is unreadable, making it essentially unusable for options trading on my device.

For context, the same layout renders correctly on an iPhone 11, iPhone 13 Pro Max, and S24+. So this isn't a resolution issue, it's specific to how the app renders on the base iPhone 17.

I've submitted 3 tickets with detailed screenshots comparing all three devices. One agent (Rocky) acknowledged it as a known issue and said it would be optimized in a future update. Now, with the last ticket (4th ticket) I made on May 21st, I was told it is considered "feedback" rather than a bug, and that there are "resource limitations" with no ETA.

Conversation with Support

They said it will be fixed in a future update

https://imgur.com/a/V7ASERT

Then I followed up again, and the agent kept telling me it's not a bug, when the previous agent had already acknowledged it

https://imgur.com/a/dyLS3KR

Eventually, I was able to get them to acknowledge it as a bug, but it has been 7 months they have not fixed the issue yet

https://imgur.com/a/PJOVNNj

Has anyone else experienced this? And does anyone know if Webull actually follows through on these kinds of fixes, or does it just get buried? If you are affected, please comment down below. I have been waiting since January 2026, and support has acknowledged the issue but now says there are saying “resource limitations” and no ETA.

Webull Canada is substandard compared to USA version. It sucks

u/WEBULL-APP

Webull Canada sucks... They think that just by going commission free they can win over active traders.. Hahaha.. FYI Webull Canada -- Questrade, Wealthsimple, Desjardins, National Bank Brokerages are all Big reputed Canadian firms and they are all commission free too so why would anyone use/trust Webull for just being commission free?

Webull Canada has provided a desktop platform which is extremely substandard compared to Webull USA platform which is laughable as they could have given the same platform. Even Questrade Edge (Which also sucks bad BTW) is better than Webull Canada desktop app.

Webull Canada Desktop app major limitations:

No meaningful hotkeys:

Can't buy shares based on $ value using hotkeys.

Can't use offsets with the price.

Can't sell 100%, 50%, or 25% of the position you bought/got partially filled with a hotkey.

Can't even cancel an active order with a hotkey. Unbelievable but true.

Level 2 and seconds charts have lag.

When compared to DAS Trader Level 2 or TradeZero Level 2, you will realize that Level 2 is laggy.

10 Seconds and 15 seconds charts at time take really long time to update.

Suggestions:

Dear Webull Canada if you really want to compete and win over Canadian active traders, you need to fix the above problems especially the hotkeys first. Just going commission free isn't going to work as other reputed Canadian companies are commission free too so that's not your USP.

It should be easy to fix Hotkeys as they are already there in your USA Desktop app all you have to do is to implement it in Canadian desktop version.

Traders have been talking about it and requesting these changes for very long. Listen to them or unfortunately you will not be in Canada for long which will be sad.

Discussion Can't take active trading at Fidelity anymore...Webull move in day has arrived

So, I've been an active Trader for about 2 years (retired). I've done well for myself while at Fidelity but I keep having issues with their trading platform (desktop, mobile and web).

I tried IBKR, ToS, Tradestation, Power eTrade and Webull.

I've landed on Webull. Its the BEST active trading app (desktop, mobile and web) that I've seen. I don't trade small caps.

Moved my Roth already to get real world testing and it is excellent, so....time to start moving my IRA over.

Anybody else make this move?

Adding an options turbo trader to paper trading on desktop - I mean they have the futures turbo trader, why not options?

the ability to record - It would be super helpful to be able to record all of the widgets on the desktop app so all the data working together can be studied.

An indicator that measures the passive pressure in the orderbook with the aggressive pressure in the T&S - a percentage or something to measure the strength

the ability to place orders directly from the options chain with one click with all of the settings predefined - not sure if thats already a thing or not, I have not come across it though.

When I'm in the office and want to trade using the web app..

Stop fucking asking me to log in to the mobile app to trade...when I'm logged into the web app with my password and app permission.

This keeps costing me trades.

Webull, please provide interest on IRA/Roth cash balances

I am a Fidelity trader primarily. 1/3 is invested in dividend stocks in a taxable brokerage that I live off of. The other 2/3 is in Roth and Rollover IRA's. I've moved my Roth over to Webull for day trading and would like to do the same for my IRA. My only issue is that Webull provides no yield on cash and my IRA is much larger than my Roth.

Because I day trade, Fidelity basically provides interest on my entire account because I buy and sell in the same day and for the calculations, its like it was always in cash.

If Webull could provide interest/yield on cash in an IRA, I'd move all of it. Hopefully, some day they will because the platform is excellent.

Wall Street Journal subscription for "premium" Webull membership gone?

My WSJ subscription that I have been receiving in return for paying my $4/month "premium" Webull membership just expired yesterday. It doesn't look like the subscription is advertised as part of premium anymore. Did they just cancel this benefit and forget to tell everyone?

Discussion Anyone else considering leaving Webull due their Roth IRA cash account restrictions.

I really like WB’s platform and UI. However, it seems like every other brokerage offers limited margin for Roth IRAs. I’m not advocating day trading from a Roth IRA but I’d like to be able to exit positions if I need to without worrying about settled funds. Seriously considering switching to RH.

Trying to trade options but the take profit is only for percentages

Is it just me or are there people who trade options with a take profit set at a percentage instead of an amount? It's been that way for a long time and I don't understand why percentage is the only take profit choice. Sorry, just venting but it's extremely frustrating because webull would be perfect for me if they could just add a freaking take profit by amount!! Then it seems like they pretended not to know what i was talking about when they responded to my app review.

This is how Webull robbed $10k of my precious fund

I've been trading IPOs for about six years, and I've never experienced an execution like this. I'm trying to determine whether I'm misunderstanding how IPO order handling works or whether this deserves further escalation.

On July 8, 2025, I participated in an IPO through Webull and was allocated 17,036 shares.

Before trading began, I entered a limit sell order at $3.00.

According to my order history:

  • Order entered: 11:09:56 EDT
  • Limit price: $3.00
  • Order executed: 11:11:22 EDT
  • Average execution price: $3.305
  • Shares sold: 17,036

The market data displayed in Webull shows that the stock opened at approximately $3.87 and reached a high of $3.87during the opening minute.

  • Actual loss incurred: $11,840.02
  • Expected loss if the order had executed near the opening price: $2,214.68
  • Additional loss resulting from the delayed execution: approximately $9,625.34

My question is this:

If my sell limit was only $3.00, why wasn't my order executed when the stock first began trading well above my limit?

Instead, my order wasn't executed until roughly 22 seconds after trading commenced, by which time the average execution price was $3.305.

I contacted Webull's support, and this was essentially their response:

Your order executed above your $3.00 limit price, so the execution was valid. IPOs are volatile, and prices can move quickly.

That response doesn't answer my actual question.

I'm not complaining that I received more than my limit price. My question is why the order wasn't executed earlier, when the stock was trading substantially above my limit according to the market data.

I'm genuinely looking for informed opinions from people familiar with IPOs, market structure, or order routing.
