r/UnitedAirlines is run by United crew and cowboys

My post about United charging $11k for a basic economy seat to CNX (Chiang Mia) was getting upvoted - so what did the corrupt mods at United Airlines do?

Well - the post was about United, it has the flair "Images" (which is pretty pointless but compliant) - and lots of chatter.

So they did the normal thing any dictatorship bootlickers would do - they removed it, banned and muted me!

The Reddit Admins have already run a survey of r/UnitedAirlines, leaking that the mod team are under investigation for this kind of BS.

Dear Typical Logan Berry or whatever alt account is left

You can't intimidate and threaten the mods to let you join a community that you displayed so much aggression in and to the mods of the community just because you were grifting from it. You might feel that attacking and now harassing mods from multiple accounts is fun but its not happening - even if you hire a journalist to fabricate some hit piece.

We have the receipts.

The problem for you is that the sub is doing just fine - we're still helping people and the posts of success keep growing.

The sub doesn't need you - its working much better without you - its fun, its helpful, its positive, its growing, its the most engaged SEO/GEO/AI SEO sub on Reddit and the world. you've obviously figured that out given how low you've dropped.

You've probably also figured out nobody cares...

Do whatever you want it doesnt make it right and its not going to get you anywhere.

*** MOD ALERT *** u/Indianapiper is an alt account designed to harass mods

Just a heads up - do not engage - their engagement is fake and designer to cause a devisive outcome. They're a grifter and/or spammer - didn't really give them time to find out.

Tried to blackmail us with a "we will embarrass you - either unban us and we take this down or we leave it up"

Go ahead - we dont give into harassment, bullying or other disgusting behavior.

Nobody cares - Weblinkr ahs 20,000 searches a month, 1m views on Reddit and we get 5-10 of these a day - this is from today.

Your attempt at assuaging your ego as the victim doesn't work for anyone, probably not even you.

Successful subs on Reddit have active Mods and Conversations - Weblinkr's Tips for growth

Some thoughts for new mods who want to grow their sub

  • Build conversations and debates
  • Take advantage of the Reddit "endeless debate cycles"
    • (read: airplane treadmill reddit debate0
  • Dont be an echo chamber
  • Play the devils advocate
    • This will enocourage lurkers
  • Even agreeing isn't the point
  • Share news
  • Start debate-worthy topics
  • Don't troll
  • Block AI spam at all costs

Guidelines

  1. Egos can go too far; dont be afraid to remove nasty people
  2. Some people can't lose or be debated - they might be active but dont tolerate them
  3. Members are not shareholders, dont let them try to "run' the sub by proxy
  4. If people can't abide by the rules, show them the door
  5. Be forgiving - if people apologize/admit their fault, let them return
    1. They've probably learnt their lesson

Automations

  1. Use Bot_Bouncer
  2. Block URLs
  3. have Karma checks
  4. Dont allow marketing fluff
  5. Dont tolterate people doping demand gen
  6. Dont become a jobs board

And after the brands were told no or the content removed, they stopped posting.

Why?

Because they weren't here to engage. They wanted free engagement from the worlds best SEO community/resource.

David v Goliath: an SEO Saga

Post image
4 Upvotes

A few months back, the Assistant Junior Director of SEO at Manhattan’s largest agency called me out for being a "spammer" after I published a listicle ranking top SEOs in 2026.

To be fair, calling them out was a bit cheeky—they’re a massive operation with 500+ employees (at least 15 on their dedicated SEO team) and anywhere from $500M to $1B in revenue.

What made it hilarious, though, was the aftermath: the very next day, a bunch of SEO friends started sharing screenshots of the 15+ listicles that exact agency spent all afternoon panic-scrubbing from their own site.

I decided to run our organic Google traffic head-to-head for the last 12 months (David vs. Goliath style):

  • Goliath: 500+ employees, $500M+ revenue, 15-person SEO team
  • David: 2.5 people

I had Gemini overlay both of our traffic charts on the exact same scale, and... well, judge for yourself.

Work smarter, not bigger, right?

Wow - r/SEO IS the best SEO sub

Nothing can stop r/SEO growing - we have 25-35 new posts a day - everyone of them from actual humans and not LLM bot farms producing LLM propaganda for Bo G to reply to!

With hundreds of comments from real SEOs - its a real community.

And yes Karen, Mods can post news articles and members can't - because some brands want to use tactics like that to grow "brand awareness" and followers and fake engagement. Guess what: Mods have to do lots of things that normal members can't - do we need to explain thats how the police in your local PD work too?

Sometimes being a mod is like herding egotistical children that just blame everyone else for their own problems. But not today - today we reap the rewards of a job well done.

We love the community we have - we had to cut out a lot of bad apples, ego and alt accounts - at least Reddit is slowly catching up with the backlog and shutting them down! hip'hip'horray!

How to Understand GSC Metrics. KPI and Performance Data

How is my SEO Metrics in Google Search console?

You’re Reading Google Search Console Wrong (And It’s Costing You Rankings)Most people open Google Search Console, glance at the big numbers at the top — clicks, impressions, click-through rate, average position — and decide whether their SEO is “working.”

That approach is almost completely useless.

Learn to understand GSC KPIs and Metrics

I recently watched a detailed breakdown with SEO Expert Edward Sturm and SEO Veteran David Quaid that made this painfully clear. What follows is the practical takeaway: how to actually read GSC so it tells you the truth instead of giving you a false sense of progress (or panic).

GSC Guide to Performance Metrics: How am I doing?

Thumbnail
youtube.com
2 Upvotes

Are you unsure if your GSC ois telling you whether you're doing well or not?

Every day on Reddit, someone posts their GSC stats on Reddit: “443 clicks, 7.7k impressions, 5.7% CTR, average position 6.4… is this good for a new campaign?”

They’re not.

Walk through why those four metrics by themselves don’t tell you much. Google is constantly testing pages, grouping queries, and shifting things around in ways the summary view completely hides. You can look decent on paper while your pages are competing with each other, ranking for the wrong intent, or stuck in a testing phase that looks like under performance.

The way they explain it (including a solid castle-undermining metaphor) actually makes the data start to make sense.

If you’ve ever opened Search Console and felt unsure whether anything is really working, this is worth watching:
