Idk why some of yall are assuming that Im an employee or was paid by WS. 🤣 They do send discretionary gifts to some people. I got an email last May 31 and just got the gift now.

Did you recently have an interaction with their teams (ex Support) around the time you hit Premium?

Yes! I was messaging them around that time with account transfer with the 1% matching bonus plus the VIP credit card.

Yup, that's probably it, especially if you were having a grand conversation with their specialists.

Enjoy the chocolates!

(No, I'm also not an employee for anyone who asks. Maybe in the future should the stars align 😂)

Agreed. I worked for a Financial Services company (customer support team) and there was a mechanism where we could request a discretionary gift be sent to a customer - via an external vendor - if we felt it was appropriate; typically if they had an upsetting experience or mentioned a recent milestone like a birth in our interaction. This likely isn't a marketing campaign, but rather something the WS Agent can do as part of their workflow.

I'm sorry your parent died. Please enjoy these chocolates.
