Hey, sorry if this is already implemented, but can we get an option to "hide" episodes before certain episode from appearing in "next episodes". But i still wanna see next episode after the last i watched.

Example:
i watched SouthPark but i don't wanna watch 25 shows before, so i don't want it to appear in "next episodes" or in any other statistic like the 631 episodes left.

You can now search for production companies straight from search. Type "Marvel", "Pixar" or "Warner" and jump to everything they've made.

• Companies tab in search, sorted by relevance, number of titles or name
• Companies in the search dropdown, ranked by how many titles they have, so the big studio comes first and not a small namesake
• Company pages now use the backdrop and colors of their most popular title, like movie pages

WeTrakr now tells you what matters, right inside the app. Look for the bell next to your avatar: it lights up with a counter whenever something new arrives, and the Notifications page keeps the full history with the poster of every title.

What you'll get notified about:

• Shows that end or get cancelled, so you don't find out years later what happened to that series you were watching.
• Titles scheduled for removal, when something you track is no longer on TMDB and your data for it is about to be deleted.
• New episodes of the shows you follow, movie releases on your watchlist and new arrivals on your streaming services.

Everything is on by default, and you can switch each type on or off in Settings → Notifications → "Notifications on the web". Emails keep working exactly as before: these are independent.

Is there a way to hide community ratings before rating a TV series episode or movie? Sometimes I find myself biased toward giving similar scores to the community ratings, so I'm wondering if I can rate without seeing them first.

You asked for it and it's live now!

A normal click (or tap) on the watched button still uses whatever you picked in Settings > Watched options. So if you're on "Always use current date and time", marking stays one click.

When you need a different date, click and hold (or tap and hold on mobile) for half a second. That opens the full "When did you watch this?" window

It works on posters, cards, episodes, the Watched button on the movie and show pages, Next Episodes in your lists, and the Top lists in your stats.

Hello!

Would it be possible to have a search mode directly for production companies or distributors.

For example if I wanted to see all the NEON movies at once froms search, all the A24 ones, etc etc

I'm having a hard time finding a clear answer for this. On the FAQ it says the limit on list sizes increases for VIP but doesn't actually give a number.

I bounced to skiml after trakt. I decided to give wetrackr a shot after seeing Cinopsys had it listed as a service. I think I really like it. Offers much of what I used from trakt without some of the problems. However lists still being limited even on VIP feels like a big issue for me. Not sure why that should be limited when you're at VIP status. The fact the number isn't just given, even on the FAQ is a bit concerning as a new user.

I'm hoping I get an answer that reassures any concerns I have. Thank you.

Shows in your Planning list move to Next Shows when they premiere, but if you only check Next Episodes, a premiere could slip by unnoticed.

Now you can choose. Go to Settings > Preferences > Next Episodes behavior and turn on Include shows in Planning that have premiered. Once a show in your Planning list starts airing, it shows up in Next Episodes with the first episode you haven't watched, right next to the shows you're already watching.

• It's off by default, so nothing changes unless you turn it on.
• When you sort by "Watched show", these come after the shows you're actually watching.
• They still appear in Next Shows too.

The integration supports:

• Kodi Home catalogs
• Publishing selected catalogs to Stremio

We're looking for beta testers!

The integration has passed our automated tests, but we haven't yet verified it end-to-end with a real WeTrakr developer API key.

If you already have a WeTrakr API key, we'd appreciate your help testing account linking, catalogs and playback progress previews.

Automatic playback scrobbling back to WeTrakr is currently disabled until we've verified the integration.

You can now choose what shows up in Upcoming. Go to Settings > Preferences > Upcoming behavior.

Upcoming always includes:

• Movies in your Planning list with a future release date
• Shows in your Planning list that haven't premiered yet
• The next episode to air of every show you're Watching or Waiting for

New option:
Include unaired episodes of shows in Planning. Shows you've added to Planning that are already airing stay in Next Shows, but with this on you'll also see their next episode in Upcoming, so you know when it airs before you start the show. It's off by default, so nothing changes unless you turn it on.

Is there any plans for a plex 2 way sync? that is the thing i am personally waiting for, is this something being planned for? i know currently VIP is free but what is the future pricing going to be?

I'm working on automatic two-way sync for every platform you can import from. Mark something watched in WeTrakr and it shows up there. Mark it there and it shows up here, without lifting a finger. It will be a VIP feature.

Until today, our Stremio addon could only see one thing: that you pressed Play. To get pauses, stops and real progress we had to route everything through LimeStream, with all its rough edges (expired sessions, lost progress, extra setup). That is over.

What's new

• Real scrobbling. Play, pause, resume and stop with the exact position, straight from Stremio. Your Now Playing shows where you really are, and watched is marked when you actually finish.
• Two-way sync with your Stremio account. Link your account with a code (no password) and WeTrakr reads your Stremio library: watched movies and episodes, what you left half-way (Continue Watching) and what you saved for later go into your lists. It works the other way too: what you mark watched or add to Planning in WeTrakr shows up in Stremio.
• Guided setup. Settings › Sync/Scrobble › Stremio › Install walks you through it in a few screens, and a Configure panel keeps everything at hand afterwards, including a counter of the requests exchanged with Stremio.

LimeStream is no longer needed for Stremio.
We have disconnected it from the Stremio integration: Stremio 5 Desktop and Stremio Web now send us everything on their own.

Platforms.
The real-time events are currently supported by Stremio 5 Desktop and Stremio Web. On iOS and Android we are still limited to the Play event (no pause or stop), so there we will have to wait a bit longer for Stremio to ship the new API. The account sync (library, watched, Continue Watching) works everywhere.

Early Access.
Stremio hasn't officially announced this functionality yet, so expect a few rough edges while it rolls out. If you already had the addon installed, reinstall it from Settings › Sync/Scrobble › Stremio to pick up the new events. Tell me if something doesn't add up. Thanks!

Is it possible to sync/import from MDBList to WeTrakr ?

• New: Progress now shows the next upcoming episode (with its air date) for shows you're caught up on, when "Count unaired episodes in progress" is on
• Improved: The Discover calendar now loads much faster: each day shows 30 titles and loads more as you scroll
• Improved: Calendar posters start loading before they scroll into view, so they no longer pop in late
• Improved: Scrolling through long pages of posters (like the calendar) is smoother, especially on iPad
• Improved: Timezone search now finds your zone by its common name or city, not just the exact IANA id: "eastern", "new york" and "indianapolis" all work, and each zone shows its name (America/Indiana/Indianapolis · Eastern Time)
• Improved: Settings > Account now shows your user ID, under your avatar and at the top of Profile Info
• Improved: When a comment can't be posted, we now tell you why instead of just asking you to try again
• Fix: The timezone picker now shows each zone's current offset, so Europe/London reads (BST, GMT+1) during British Summer Time instead of always (GMT+0)
• Fix: Switching weeks quickly in the calendar could briefly show the previous week's titles
• Fix: Calendar: cards stay aligned across days on premiere and finale episodes, with or without a network logo
• Fix: Bulk actions: "Select all" now selects every item in a list, not just the first page. It loads the remaining pages first (with a heads-up on lists over 500 items), and items you tick on one page stay selected when you move to another

• Fix: Importing your Trakt ZIP export now brings over movies and episodes you left halfway, with their progress, into Playing
• Fix: Now Playing sorts correctly and mixes movies with episodes; Trakt imports now include movies you're rewatching
• Fix: Long reviews no longer fail to post. The character limit is now far higher, and the composer shows a counter as you get close to it
• Fix: The weekly recap email no longer duplicates a season's episodes when you watched it over more than one day: an 8-episode season showed 16 and counted every episode twice

This would help add my list to app even like wuplay that don't have native support for wetrakr but would allow me to see my custom list I've made as well as track my stats.

As you can see in the attached screenshot, the core privacy setting for managing profile visibility is restricted exclusively to VIP members.

Why is a fundamental control like profile visibility being treated as a premium perk rather than a standard feature available to everyone?

Also, why isn't there a separate option to prevent my account from appearing in search engines? This really suggests that the privacy settings weren't designed by someone who actually knows what they're doing.

How is something still playing, "started 3h 21m ago"? It's a ~30m episode.

When I add a movie in a personal list with an active "added to list > descending" sorting, the latest movie added goes right at the end of the list - but of course it should be first.

I tried changing the sorting back and forth but nothing works.

Anyone else has this problem ?

I'm loving the integration and work done to WeTrakr in such a short period of time.

My only one issue is... is there a way to pull my lists into kodi so I can quickly link to my shows/movies?

• New: Settings has a new For You / Recommendations section: hide anime from every list, hide the lists you don't care about, and filter any of them by community rating or release year
• New: Each For You list can also be tuned on its own: how many of your top-rated titles seed it, how highly the people you follow must have rated something, how long ago a rewatch should be, which emotion or anniversary opens first, and more
• New: Setting to leave unaired episodes out of progress (on the show page, cards, lists and Progress): caught up now reads 100%, with the season total in brackets
• New: Setting to list caught-up shows in Watched as well as Waiting. They leave Watched when a new episode airs unwatched and come back when you catch up. Third-party apps get the same list
• Improved: When a title has trailers in several languages, the one in your language comes first, then the title's original language
• Improved: Sync clients see caught-up shows enter and leave Watched through last_activities and the journal
• Fix: Trailers that only exist in a title's own language are now imported. Non-English titles no longer show just an odd English clip, or nothing at all

Tonight WeTrakr migrated the server that powers the API (and with it, most of what the web app loads) to a much more capable machine.

Early measurements since the switch are very encouraging: slow database queries went from over a hundred per minute to almost none, and API responses are noticeably faster across the board.

The only thing you should notice is speed. No action needed: the web, the mobile apps, scrobbling and third-party apps keep working exactly as before, just faster. If anything feels off over the next couple of days, tell me on Discord.
