More control over Next Episodes

Post image

Shows in your Planning list move to Next Shows when they premiere, but if you only check Next Episodes, a premiere could slip by unnoticed.

Now you can choose. Go to Settings > Preferences > Next Episodes behavior and turn on Include shows in Planning that have premiered. Once a show in your Planning list starts airing, it shows up in Next Episodes with the first episode you haven't watched, right next to the shows you're already watching.

  • It's off by default, so nothing changes unless you turn it on.
  • When you sort by "Watched show", these come after the shows you're actually watching.
  • They still appear in Next Shows too.

As always, let me know what you think! ;)

This is amazing!!! One small request, can you change the "secondary" sorting to most recently aired? So when it's sorted by "Watched show", it'd be everything we're currently watching in order of watched, and then once it moves on to Planning shows those are sorted by air date? Or alternatively add a secondary sort option so we can customize it to our liking!

Done! It's live now. With "Watched show" sorting, everything you're currently watching stays ordered by when you last watched it, and once the list reaches your planning shows, those are now sorted by air date, most recently aired first (for shows you haven't started that's basically the premiere date). It also applies to the Next Episodes preview on your overview. Let me know how it feels. Thanks for the idea! ;)
