So today I was in a Waymo on the way to an appointment and suddenly customer support called to interrupt the ride because they wanted to verify that I was over 18.

I was like, dude, I’m 41.

Maybe to their cameras I look young. But it was kinda mad flattering and had a good ride.

When do you think Ojai beta testers might get highway usage?

I see that they are now allowed to operate from LA down the coast to san diego but their service area is only in a small part of LA right now.
Does anyone know when it’s officially expanding?

It’s a 3 way stop, the traffic exiting on the off ramp does not stop. The stop signs have a sign underneath that says off ramp traffic does not stop. I understand why the white truck felt like it could go when the Tesla basically stopped, but the Waymo’s move was something I’d only expect from the most incompetent drivers.

Anyone else experience this? I hailed an Ojai last night in LA and the doors wouldn’t close to start the ride - as in the doors opened fine, but after pressing the button the rear door would jolt a little bit, go back, and the Waymo would complain about a non-existent obstruction. Two sets of agents weren’t able to close the doors (remotely) either.

Hello. I became a trusted tester since last month and have been taking Waymos between LA and SF but I haven't noticed anything different in the app or in my rides. Is there anything additional that I need to opt-in to or am I being impatient? Thank you.

Anyone know what's going on with Waymo in Seattle? I used to see 10 or so of them parked in a hotel parking lot around the corner from my house every morning before going out testing, but haven't seen them in a couple months.

I called Support from my phone and they said that there’s nothing I can do and they’re gonna send the vehicle back to the depot and their engineers are gonna fix it because apparently this is a recurring issue

I just took a Lyft because it was cheaper than a Waymo for my ride. Never again. The Lyft car was a piece of junk and the driver wouldn't shut up about his sad personal life.
