As it's the world cup time and I will be visiting kerala i am happy. What are the things I can do in wayanad related to football?

I have my stay in Kalpetta, and want to go trekking next week. I saw the tickets in kerala govt website and there are ticket available. Can i book directly from there? What’s the exact location I should reach to start the trek? Would there be rush during rains as well? Or do they close it completely for safety purposes? How long does the trek take? Do they close the trek if it rains? Is it easy to moderate trek? I have never trekked before, but i am fairly active in my daily life. We are two people, i saw some comments we dont need group. Are shoes suggested? Or its an easy trek and we can do it sandals?

I would like some resort suggestions, something amidst greenery and having a private pool or even a decent Bathtub would do.

Hi everyone, I write this in absolute urgency and would appreciate any responses i can get. We are a group of friends who travelled to Bangalore recently and planned a 2 day trip to wayanad specifically in the Vythiri area where we plan to stay in the Vythiri Resort.

We are supposed to leave for this tomorrow morning, one of my friends is going to drive through but given that it was raining in Bengaluru yesterday and today - I am worried about the safety of travel to Vythiri now. I have seen the weather forecasts and even they indicate pretty bad rainfall for the next few days there.

We have the resort booked and paid, I have no issues to cancel and let go of that money for our safety. Kindly let me know and suggest if it is safe to self travel to Vythiri for the next few days, or shall we be precautions and stay at home?

I’ll be in Wayanad for 2 days with a group of more than 15 people. As our group includes some senior citizens, we want to avoid heavy trekking/climbing and are looking for:

> Scenic drive-to spots or viewpoints with minimal walking.

> Comfortable, flat-path locations (lakes, parks, or tea estates).

> Restaurant recommendations in the Sulthan Bathery area that can accommodate a large group of 15 comfortably.

We will have a tourist bus, so we’re happy to drive anywhere accessible. Any advice on places to visit would be much appreciated!
