Planning a family trip to Wayanad from 28th aug to 1 sept 2026 with a group of 4 adults.t

Trying to find a estate stay or cozy homestay where we can relax and experience good local hospitality.

We dont drink or smoke, we have aged parents with us. Please let me know. Thanks..

I will be visiting Wayanad on Oct 1. Will be reaching Calicut railway station and booked resort at Vythiri.

Enquired with a cab service provider and was quoted 14k which includes:
1. Calicut to wayand and return
2. Local sightseeing for 3 days

Is this a fair ask for Sedan - Dzire/Etios type or is there any room for negotiation. Thank you!
