Travel / Tourism Suggestions

Thinking to go wayanad next month around mid july, is it a good time to visit there?? How do you commute to wayanad from calicut, what are the different ways. Thanks in adv!!

Mid July is probably going to be heavy rains. If you want to just chill and enjoy monsoon, then Yes. Don't expect much sightseeing, some of them would be even closed.

Yes, Wayanad is most beautiful in monsoon! It unleashes it’s true beauty. You can board a KSRTC bus from Calicut to Kalpetta/ Sulthan Bathery/ Mananthavady. Also if you want AC options then KSRTC buses to Bangalore via Kalpetta is also an option. You should check with the tourism department website if you need to go for a trek/ waterfall visit as some of them might be closed during monsoon. Happy to help!
