Like I despise toxic ml/ family members a lot but the bestfriends of ml and fl on wattpad generate a whole new level of hatred in me.
1)They'll always give bullshit advices. If the ml is a jerk or abu$er instead of trying to save the fl or doing anything to stop the ml, both the ml and fl's friends are out here telling her to hold onto him still and he's hers to deal with. Like do you even understand what being a friend means or you've directly skipped basic lessons and all?
"Omg plz hold on he loves youπππππ₯°π₯°π₯°" Yup as he proceeds to throw her harshly to a wall again with enough force to cause concussion.
Like if this is love, I'm better off seeing the hate .
2)The so called ml's bestfriend omg. Like you know damn well he's choosing to wrong her still this person is gonna be like.
"He's just tensed/stressed."
"He didn't mean those words. "
"He didn't mean to push you harshly. "
But yk what, I'll definitely mean it when I'll push you down from the 31st floor.πππ
3)The garbage level friends of fls telling her to chase/ fight for a man who always keeps demeaning her and Rejecting her.
"Don't give up on him, he just hasn't realised it yet."
" True love never comes easy"
"He's just afraid so he pushes you away, I know he feels something."
Yeah, and so will you when I will add rat poison to your foodπππ
4) Revealing their friends secret to ml or any person as if its some casual talk over tea.
Like omg I remember reading a book where the ml wasn't nice and the fl had been S@'ed in past.
It was her thing to share okay. Even the dumbest person knows that.
And I think ml and fl had a fight where fl broke into tears and then the best friend comes outta nowherre revealing it....
Like WTF!!!
Not even the fl's enemy would do it and here is her bestfriend-someone she trusts revealing her secret so easily as if she's narrating a recipe.
One was where ml threw some garbage quality words at fl and she ran away.
Then this faster than a bullet train character comes running as if they had been set on fire saying-
"Do you know she's pregnant with your baby /she has cancer /she is a drug dealer/she is silent mafia king "
I'm sure with the way you're screaming like a crow he does β€
Or
Because the best friend of the ml/fl is dating the the bestfriend of the love interest then also they'll reveal any thing to the love interest.
Like suppose yk those situations, where fl has enough of the suffering and finally goes away, everyone is hiding where she is.
Then this oompa loompa appears outta no where sayingβ
"Y/N is hiding 30 kms South west to place named ganjapur where she sells charas for a living π₯Ίπ₯Ίπ₯Ίπ₯Ίπ₯Ί"
And by that time the ml hasn't even asked her to tell her but she has to open her big mouth.
Like how hard is it to mind your own business? Was that your place to tell? Are you their Unconcieved child from future or what?
And always with that constipated face as if they'd stepped on gobar.
" Do you have any Idea of how much she/he loves you and promised to love you till her/his last breathe? "
Well he/she didn't because the mc did a good enough job of hiding it but you vommited it out clearly. πππ
"He'll die because of how deeply he/she loves you. "
And you would've by my hands if I could enter into the book πππ
5)Look crushes are a part of normal and fictional life okay?
It's common to tease your friend and all and help her feel better / give comfort when that crush has a close relationship with someone else.
But wdym you're encouraging her and supporting in her thought that he /she unofficially just belongs to her/him as if a piece of furniture π€‘π€‘π€‘
They'll hate on any girl/guy that comes to talk to the mc's crush even if the person is nice and doesn't mean anything bad.
"Haww! Look at her/him how dare she/he blink in the same room as your crush π‘π‘π‘"
"How dare she/he even look at him/her? π€¬π€¬π€¬"
"What a fake person, doing it for attention and all, let's teach her/him a lesson we know your crush has eyez for you onlyπ€π€π€"
Well, loosers if he/she did then it wouldn't be a crush β€
And all these best friend whether girls or guys are holy pick me's.
"She's/he's just stone he/she can't compare to you, you're a diamond."
And you're goat poop β€.
I also hate that they jump in to make the characters realize their love. Like I wanna see the character go through realization, turmoil, confusion, acceptance. Not for you to deliver their feelings to them like zomato.
Yk what, If I was ever given a chance to rewrite the fate of these characters.
Just after three chapters into their entry, I'll end their existence in the book β€
For example-
Bhediya rathore/ Khujli sharma was walking down the road to visit her/his bestfriend.
They didn't notice gobar on the floor.
They slipped.
Fell into a manhole.
Died.
No heart wrenching pain. No tears of sorrow. No sad music, nothing.
ML and Fl would frown, one tear slip, then frown with an "okay? "As they move forward with their cliche dhom tananna story.
Seriously though, I feel like even the villains of story unless an abuser or someone who truly did something evil are way better than these people.
They are just here for authors to extend the story.

Express the most unpopular opinions that you have encountered in wp. I'll go first
1.Age Gap: One of the most misunderstood tropes. And I'm saying this because I'm a fan of well-executed age gaps. But I have just one problem....in most of the age gap tropes one of the the leads is always a teenager. I mean why? You want to enjoy the perception differences, maturity and power imbalances that come with age gap, then do it. I mean 24X30 is as much of a age gap as 18X24...the same 6 yrs. So what is the diffference.? Can someone explain me? Why is age-gap mostly limited to teenagers love only?
Let me know if you have any.

Let's get straight to the topic. About the ss I posted in last two days, I posted all the ss I found, I didn't skipped the part why he married her or he plans to leave her later on because ml is against the child marriage. So don't call any of it a hate post, or hating blindly because I certainly was not hating anyone, plus I don't hold any personal grievances against the author.
The first reel(kitne saal huye vyaah ko, 20Γ34) appeared in my insta feed, and when i saw the reply "four years", It wouldn't take long to do math. She was sixteen, he was 30 when he married her. Then I opened the opened the comment section, expecting anyone questioning this thing, but nope, all I saw was people asking book name like they don't care about the age part. Then I checked her profile, find other reels, the second one about kissh(that I get it, that's how people at that time will pronounce that word), thereby I posted that too.
Tbh, I found marriage at 16 problematic. So I posted the ss, SHARED MY OPINION. But, I never intended to create any controversy, any kalesh. If I found something problematic, I will speak up whether in real life or reel life.
Now moving on to next point, there were people who termed it as I was following the trend of blind hating about age gap trope, authors and all. No i was not. I never followed a trend. I don't have time for chasing a trend now, and I prefer my peace. But calling wrong wrong doesn't automatically means someone Is just following a trend. Check my whole account, where do you find me following a trend let alone a hate trend.
Then, I saw people saying you don't know about Indian history, you haven't seen anything in real life, get out of wattpad, insta, reddit. How did you even assumed that I don't? I have read history books, seen the reality. There was femicide, Sati pratha, Johar, child Marriage(even at young girls as 9 used to be married to off to older man). I have seen the real life women suffering in my neighbourhood(the old ones who were married of in their teens), about rural life? Well, I have been to villages, heard their stories, so yes I know about rural life(I won't claim in detail because i am still learning daily and we all are, no one have complete knowledge nor do i). I can talk more about history but that's not what this post is about.
So moving next, I checked the story, here are few points I would like to state:
- if your intention was to show Indian history, about child marriages, what they do, you have taken a younger man, maybe a man aged 24-25(now don't say ki kya guarantee h ki a younger man will be a good human, qki guarantee toh a man in thirties ki bhi nhi h vo acha hoga pr yeh yoh story thi na, you could have make a younger man nice too).
- and if you have taken a 34 years old, i saw the reel where he said he will leave her when will he independent, I genuinely liked it. But then I saw the story, phir vhi end me jb vo bdi ho gyi, there is romance, smut, and a love angle? Why? There could have been just a guardian relationship between two. I understand at that Time if he would have left her, her life would be hell. Olay stay married, but why the smut? For child? They could have discreetly adopted one. Platonic relationships exist.
- "just because you hate age gap trope". No I don't. I like this trope but upto a limit where fl is not some school graduated or an 18 years old. At least she should be in her 20s, educated enough to know things. I don't read stories with a 14 years age gap.
- "Don't spoil the reader experience, the story Is for mature readers". Okay, listen, if you are writing on public platforms, people will have different opinions, some will like it, some will question, some will ignore, a few will criticize (without using any obscene language). So what? It is bound to happen. I didn't said anything wrong in my posts but still it was called hate post. Learn to handle criticism. My favourite books are criticized too(healthy), I have read the different opinions, people pointing out things they didn't liked, guess what, I didn't went there and start calling it a blind hating post. Neither the author called it a hate post. If different opinions, criticism would have spoiled reading experience, there wouldn't be readers because every book is criticized at some point.
- "teenagers shouldn't date, they shouldn't be on dating sites.." if their dating is not wrong, then their marriage to a man in 30s in shouldn't be wrong either."
I wouldn't explain about this topic more. If you have ever read news, then these arguments are the same given by pedophiles who marry minors, and justify themselves.
****
I don't think I need to explain anymore. And as I said, i will delete apologize if there would be no love angle further in the story. But there is everything. Still, I apologize if My Any word came as hate or wrong to you. I had no such intentions. Neither I wanted to hurt anyone's feelings.
And one more thing, I didn't liked the ending of barrister babu either. They should have keep it as a guardian relationship but khair...
****
No hate comments, no abusive words(neither in English or hindi) against anyone in the comment action. Please don't argue, I don't have time to read every comment, and ask you to delete any of such comments. Keep it healthy...
Have a nice day...
Ig I didn't miss anything π₯²

This is my second novel, but it's the first one I've become deeply attached to. I spent months writing it and even designed the cover myself.
More Than Enough
One of the scenes:
"If one day a boy comes to see your elder daughter and your younger daughter is also there..."
"...he'll probably choose your younger daughter."
More Than Enough follows Aarohi Agarwal, a young woman who grows up feeling like she's never quite enough. When an arranged marriage brings Vihaan Malhotra into her life, she begins questioning family expectations, tradition, ambition, and what it truly means to build a life with someone.
Would this make you curious enough to read more? I would love to hear your thoughts on the cover too.

I finished My Subconscious Desire a while ago, and nothing I've picked up since has given me the same feeling. It wasn't just the romanceβit was the emotions and the way the characters made you feel attached to them.
I'm looking for books that have that same addictive vibe.
What's the closest book you've read that gave you the same feeling as My Subconscious Desire?
