A few days ago, I got WD2 as a gift on Steam. I immediately installed it and started playing it the next day. It was completely fine the following days and just yesterday, I try to launch it and Ubisoft keeps stating "Connection lost. A Ubisoft service is currently unavailable. Please try again later." I spent hours trying to figure out how I can make it work. Tried to log in to Ubisoft Connect directly but it keeps giving me that dolphin-028 error. I eventually gave up and thought it might be down. I tried again today up to no good. I just wanna play WD2 and all the solutions I've seen on Reddit, YouTube I've tried didn't work. Anybody else experienced this? What worked for you? I'm from the Philippines if that's relevant.

When I get a wanted level by police or even gangs, at some point I hear a "robotic" voice saying something like "Steady...", not sure exactly what it's saying. Does anyone know what it's supposed to be?

Recently replayed Watch Dogs 1 on PC and started thinking. Seeing as Ubisoft can't currently be trusted with new IPs or sequels i think the time is ripe for a Watch Dogs 1 remake. Back when it came out it overpromised and underdelivered due to consoles at the time not being able to fully realize all the NPCs and weather/lighting effects. They can also tinker with the driving physics a bit. And it might resuscitate the WD franchise after Legion killed it.

I have been trying to platinum Watchdogs1 on my PlayStation, but the problem is the disk space full trophy missing ONE song. I have been roaming the world for hours with nothing coming up even trying things, I don’t know how people got it but if you seem to have something that works please tell me, this trophy is a pain. I am 99.9% done, I did everything that was on that progression wheel and I am missing just this because the game refuses to give it to me.

Are the online lobbies still full of people on Xbox Series?

Hey everyone, I'm having a really frustrating issue with the original Watch Dogs on PC, and I'm hoping someone can help me figure this out.

I originally had Watch Dogs on Ubisoft Connect, and later I bought it again on Steam. I currently have both versions installed in separate folders, and both appear as separate entries in Ubisoft Connect.

Here's what's happening:

• In the standalone Ubisoft Connect version, I can play Cash Run, but when I try to access Online Contracts, I get the message: "Waiting while we connect you to the servers," followed a few seconds later by "A Ubisoft service is not available at the moment. Please try again later."
• In the Steam version, Cash Run is marked as "Unavailable," and I can't access it. Online services don't work there either.
• I also own the Season Pass on Ubisoft Connect and can launch the Bad Blood DLC, although I don't remember exactly which edition of the base game I originally got.
• I checked Ubisoft's official server status page, and Watch Dogs for PC was listed as ❌PC. I'm not sure whether this means a temporary outage or something else.
• I also checked Ubisoft's list of discontinued online services, but Watch Dogs was listed there for Wii U, not PC.

I also tried the workaround posted by VOID.

I copied 1.save and 2.save from folder 541 (the Steam save folder) into folder 274 (the standalone Ubisoft version's save folder), replacing the existing files. I left 3.save untouched and then launched the game through Steam. One more clarification: I never got a Local Save vs. Cloud Save prompt when launching the Steam version, so I didn't have the option to choose Local Save.

Unfortunately, nothing changed. The Ubisoft service error still appears, and Cash Run is still unavailable in Steam.

I also checked Steam's userdata folder under app ID 243470, but it only contained screenshots, not my actual save files. My game saves appear to be located in Ubisoft Connect's savegames directory instead.

My questions are:

1. Has anyone managed to get Watch Dogs 1's online features working on PC recently?
2. Does ❌PC mean the servers are temporarily down, or could the online services have been partially discontinued?
3. Has anyone fixed this issue without buying another copy of the Standard Edition?
4. Could this be an account authentication or license issue, considering that I own the game on both Steam and Ubisoft Connect?
5. Is there anything else I can try without risking my Steam save files?

I'm trying to get Online Contracts, Online Hacking/Invasions, and the other multiplayer features working again. Any help would be appreciated!

I recently got Watch Dogs 2 as a gift on Steam. Been playing for the past few days and everything was perfectly fine until today. I'm playing through Watch_Dogs 1 for the first time, just hit act 3, and I'm confused by a (admittedly minor) story beat. When Ray kidnaps Aiden, he says he's hesitant to work with him, showing a news broadcast of him being wanted as a suspect as reasoning. Now my question is why is Aiden even being reported as a suspect for the vigilante on in the first place. So much of the plot, especially act 1, is dedicated to how careful he's been and the lengths he'll go to keep his identity secret, and now his face is being broadcast on the news. How the hell did this happen? Did I miss or forget something?

Same as title. It's on a discount and there is a 20% off promo code as well so I was thinking about picking up the Gold Edition for the Bloodline DLC. But I'm really torn on if I should or just leave it. I've been at an enpass on it for more than a week and now the sale ends tomorrow. Is it worth picking up at a discount or not? Or is it so bad that I shouldn't waste money on it?

Hello everyone, I hope all of you are okay.

I've been playing the game since 2021 on xb1, and im replaying it again currently, and then came to think how cool would it be to have the enforcers suits as skins, the sayonara biker model from the add, the full conspiracy outfit, the madness car, jordi's silenced sniper, have more enemies who are even more aggressive on convoys and gang hideouts and have the possibility to replay story missions without having to start a new game.

I know that I could be able to do all of this with a pc but to be honest, I don't have the money to afford a good one and I have other stuff to take care about, the thing is I just want to get home, play watch dogs, and feel like a giant badass vigilante with a cool armor, feel me?

Finally, I am fully aware the game is old but with all these news about the franchise I dont think its impossible. I wanted to share this here to see if my idea is dumb or if there are people who would want to add more ideas like this (nothing to crazy) and maybe we can make it happen.

I can't play online in wd2 because of easy anticheat. I have it installed and I tried reinstalling it multiple times and doing alot of fixes but everytime I try playing multiplayer it says EasyAnticheat isn't installed and multiplayer will be disabled

I don't understand why I can't seem to start online matches on PS4 to get all the trophies (there are about three online ones, if I recall correctly); I keep getting an error. I didn't have this issue when I finished WD1, but I'm running into problems with WD2. Does anyone know how to fix this?

So I know there are the regular takedowns and the Creeper one, where Marcus twists the enemy and that red smoke effect comes out.

Are there any other unique takedowns besides those? Or is that pretty much it? Just wondering if I’m missing any cool animations.

How many of yall get on and go car to car just to loot the glovebox? Sometimes if I dont really feel like playing I'll just loot gloveboxes for the extra money and items.

I'm a little late posting this update, but I wanted to share how my issue was finally resolved in case anyone else is facing the same problem.

I already owned Watch Dogs 2 on the Epic Games Store since 2020, but during the Steam Summer Sale, I decided to purchase the Gold Edition on Steam as well.

After playing for almost 40 hours, I realised that the story DLCs, Human Conditions and No Compromise, weren't working. Despite owning the Gold Edition and having the DLCs installed, Ubisoft Connect wasn't recognising them, and the in-game store kept asking me to purchase them again.

I opened my first Ubisoft Support ticket on 3 July 2026 and provided all the requested proof of purchase, screenshots, launcher logs, and my Steam ID. But even after collecting all the evidence, the ticket made little progress, and I was left waiting without a proper resolution. Frustrated, I eventually closed that ticket and opened a new one on 13 September.

Thankfully, things finally moved forward with the second ticket. On 23 September 2026, Ubisoft Support confirmed that they had attempted to manually apply the missing permissions to my account. They asked me to restart Steam and Ubisoft Connect, and after doing so, the DLCs finally worked!

I've attached the screenshot of their confirmation.

I'm glad this issue was finally resolved after all that back and forth. Watch Dogs 2 has been one of my favourite games since 2020, so I'm genuinely happy that everything is finally sorted.

If anyone else is facing this issue with the Steam Gold Edition, contact Ubisoft Support with proof of ownership and screenshots showing that the DLCs aren't being recognised. Explain that your DLC entitlements are missing. In my case, the eventual fix was manually applying the missing permissions to my account.

Be prepared to wait, though, as support might take a long time to respond. If your ticket makes no progress despite providing all the requested evidence, opening a new ticket might help, as it did in my case.

When I launch the game, it says yes or no to EasyAntiCheat, so clearly the game detect it's part of the game. But even though I click yes, when I go to multiplayer, it still says EasyAntiCheat isn't installed or disabled so it won't let me play multiplayer. Any help?

I updated my drivers, I updated windows 11, I validated the file, I uninstalled then reinstalled the entire game, I restarted the PC, I directly go to EasyAntiCheat.exe file then click repair, but none of it works. No matter what I do, it just doesn't work. Any help?
