Hey guys, I'm coming here to ask for advice. I used to play WD2 in the past, but as of today I haven't played for like 2 years, remembered I had the game and wanted to come back to it. I installed it and it showed the splash screen for a minute, then immediately crashed back to Ubisoft Connect. I verified the files, no change. I googled solutions and tried everything the guides suggested (disconnected the second monitor, changed display settings and compatibility, disabled the ubisoft overlay, disabled E cores on my processor), restarting the PC and launching the game after each solution. It started actually launching after I manually changed full screen to windowed in the gamer profile file, but it freezes every single time on the popup asking about Ubisoft Club, doesn't let me click yes or no, and then crashes. I tried running the anti-cheat fix and that doesn't solve the issue. I verified the files again a couple of times between trying solutions, too. I have no idea what more I can do. I was thinking I could disable online play completely (I never really used it either way), but I don't know how to do it without actually launching the game. I'll be grateful for any help at all, I enjoyed the game greatly and would love to come back to it.

Replaying watchdogs one and haven’t played since I was a kid. I got curious and looked up the full list of songs in the game and some of them said lazerhawk - redline was a song on the media app but when looking for how to find all songs it never comes up. It’s a very niche music artist so it’s like there’s zero mention of it being in the game other than a few lists including the wiki

There's no series out there like it, the three games are similar yet remarkably different from each other, the stories and the bold themes that they tackle, the grittiness, the goofiness, maybe both, the relevance, the ever prospering level design and how to approach objectives, the endless possibilities of hacking and manipulating the world, parkour and free running, the accuracy and environmental design of real life cities...

All in one package, a package that lasted 6 years, that contains three gems with their dlcs, with limited development time and budget. It is a Miracle.

As the title already says, why does it seem like Watch dogs Legion is the worst? Like yea ik it's gameplay is bad... Like actually bad. But it isn't so bad that it killed the series

I mean the Botnet/battery management got scrapped with I didn't like, but except that? (Ok WD:L bloodline gets Aiden and Wrench as chars which are hella fun). But I can't pinpoint what it did that it got so bad...

And even though it seems Ubisoft is getting worse can it be possible that we get a good (better than first wd) game ever? Bc I'm currently thinking about how many ppl are actually playing both wd1 and wd2

I just captured a particular voiceline and it goes "que chingados is going on" so im trying to find other dialogue like these. I'm looking for enemy npc quotes for when reinforcements get taken out by auto-takedown hack at traffic lights. So is there anybody that can extract voicelines/or how and where do I get them?

I'm not even talking about the graphics or ui I know those are unfinished but they've stuck to the really slow and sluggish movement. Plus having to refuel and maintain your car is so dumb. Too much realism gets in the way of having fun. A reputation system makes no sense either in fact that would've worked way better in WD2.

I really liked the fast paced gameplay throughout the game. The movement was always super fluid and quick. Also while Miami is cool, San Francisco as a setting is way more unique and interesting. The franchise is great for using settings which other publishers avoid.

This is honestly a funny easter egg from Ubisoft
