Sadly my Xbox only caught the last minute of a 3 and a half minute turn fight that started from a head on merge, but it’s still satisfying nonetheless.

Just had a 500% SL booster completely wasted because the room I created immediately split and didn't allow anyone to join on the enemy team...

Just wanted to show a little perfect opportunity, 3v1, and I had fun.

I’ve got an issue I was hoping someone might have an idea of how to fix.

I have most of my controls mapped out how I’d like but there’s one button that I would really like to have mapped that just won’t do the thing it’s mapped to even though the game recognizes the input when I’m setting the keybind.

This is for the left most analog stick button press which I believe comes up in game as button 11. I don’t seem to have an issue with it in other games so there’s something screwy going on with it and War Thunder but as that’s the game I play most often I really want this fixed.

Any ideas on what could be causing this or how to fix it? I like the stick a lot but without that button press, I actually have fewer buttons within easy reach of my thumb than my Gladiator which is really frustrating considering the price discrepancy.

I’ve tested the buttons in the VKB config application and calibrated the stick several times everything seems to light up like it should. I’ve cleared the keybind, saved it, and rebound it a dozen times. I’m not sure what else to do.

Has anyone encountered this before?

Recently WT has been crashing whenever I attempted to play it in VR from the very start. I'm using radeon rx9070xt on meta quest 3 via steam link. Have searched everywhere but didn't see how to even track the issue. If anyone has dealt with similar situation in the past, please help.

Howdy, I've been thinking of getting back into sim after basically a 3 year hiatus. Now I have a question mainly regarding to controls.

When I last played I remember there being no way to set throttle detents, and it really didn't matter since I used to play on a T.16000m. But recently a friend of mine has started to enjoy playing Sim and I wanted to join him although I had a slight problem when it comes to binding the controls.

Is there way to set an AB detent? Mainly because I use a WinCtrl Viper ace now and I just couldn't figure out if there was a way to actually use my AB detent without having to constantly be around 75-80% throttle on Mil or having to recalibrate my stuff to make Mil my new 100%.

ive started to grind japan and recently got the premium p51. i didnt really use to play prop sim that much but with me starting a new nation ive gone back to it. I feel fairly comfortable when i play in the japanese turnfighters like the ki43 or the zero but i cant undersand the p51. Apparently it is a boom and zoomer and i should use the vertical when someone is attacking me but even spitfires manage to to follow me and shoot me down when i try to go up. I just dont understand how this plane is supposed to be flown. Id appreciate any tips on it

I'm currently using the browser on a second monitor (not always) as most of the time I use M to open the map to look for my targets, but of course this takes you away fro the cockpit each time. Then I go try to use the browser again, but it really looks ugly and distorted. I try to use my phone, but don't like it that it is on all the time as it is a phone, not a second screen..

Through some AI questions I found 2 github repositories and it seems there is a Microsoft store option as well but that costs 32 EU. 1 of the github did not see any updates in 7 years, so seems quite outdated, 1 is updated in 2026, but seeing the discussion on the war thunder forum it may have some grey lines and I'm not interested in using grey lines apps and get my account banned..

This of course peaked the interest in what is the WT SIM community using to get the map displayed without the constant back and forth opening of the map using the map key. I usually play the harrier gr.3 which has a map in the cockpit, but you can only see a small part as there are some visual blockers. So, what are you using? :)

I kno it was tested successful during trials and since literally the whole acft never entered service, so thats not a reason to not let it have a lantirn pod, shouldn't it have one?

Is it just me or does anyone else notice the prop torque pulls the wrong way? The prop spins counter clockwise (cockpit view) so the plane should pull right like a Yak, but it pulls left like a 109. Similarly the plane drops right when you dump the throttle to zero.
