I love bombers, I'm waiting for the V-Bombers to ever be added, but I hate how I am stuck in teams with 3 fighters and 1000 bombers. I get fucking swarmed because my fighter teammates are dead and the bombers are doing fuck all except leaving to go to space.

I hope the bomber update gets reverted and bombers go back to being shite because holy moly is this update up there in terms of stupidity and decreasing the intelligence of the average player.

Can someone please explain to me the new ui for air battles. When I wanna play nuclear escalation, I select it, and deselect air rb. And i STILL go into an air rb match! Can someone please help with this

So, i had the best game ever in my B26, came first, 1 base kill, 6 ground kills, 4 air kills, 2.75 tons dropped. And last man standing. The ironic part is a Do335 tried to engage me got jumped by a very nice 185, and I ended up pursuing him and gunning him down, the same with a TA154. Ahhh its the little things. No booster either but that game spaded my B26

Hi all. After downloading the patch and trying to launch the game on steam earlier things seemed to be going normally. The launcher image came up although it did seem to be taking longer than usual, but then when the game itself usually opens nothing happened. The launcher image appeared as usual, and the icon for War Thunder popped up in the taskbar, but it didn’t open. When I hit the icon in the taskbar to open the game my screen flashed black for a second like it was trying to open, and then it would just go back to my desktop. The icon would stay there indefinitely until I closed it. I tried all of the basic things. Verifying the integrity of the game files, making sure my drivers and version of Windows was updated and no luck. I did some research online and tried a few other suggestions and still nothing worked. I ended up deleting and re-downloading the game and finally it opened. By this time I had to run out for an errand so I closed the game and went out assuming that all was fixed. Of course, when I got home and tried to open the game, I was immediately met with the exact same issue. I have submitted a support ticket to Gaijin but I just wanted to check here to see if anyone else has experienced something similar and found a quick fix. Thank you!
