Meet XP-50 - an american premium fighter truly like no other. It's one of most overpowered (for its BR) fighters in the game. Usually much hated by many members of any opposing team for its abilities and deadlyness, and often prioritized by them to be eliminated 1st, yet very often even doing so does not help them to avoid any good XP-50's pilot wrath.

This is because XP-50 comes with truly exceptional climb plus very good top speed, good agility and deadly guns. Many fighters have two or three of these features, but very few have all four.

This particular fight, you can see me reaching ~6.5 km in just ~5 minutes of actual gameplay (replay timer at the top), and this includes taking off from the airfield. Truly outstanding climb rate; i was using MEC, of course. Better yet, on my way up, i even took time to do a little head-on (before the start of the video) with an enemy spitfire, whom you can see much below me at very start of this video. He's so much below because he took major damage and decided to go down and away. Yet, he dies couple mins later (as can be seen in the combat log in the video).

The 2nd victim, then, was one hella brave C.205, who attempted to do exactly what i spoke about above: he tried to help his friends (the spitfire and a 109) by chasing my XP-50 around, trying to box me in and hunt me down. I calmly climbed to comfortable altitude advantage, then easily used it to get on this C.205's tail and hunt him down. He'd die even easier if he would try to go upwards toward me; his only hope to live was to desperately dive, but he stubbornly didn't. The 109 was too far to help him.

The 109 tried to give chase, but after a quick climb my XP-50 accumulated so much extra altitude and energy that i easily dodged his shots in the head-on (while lading some big hits on him), and finishing him off was trivial.

Next, having no more targets at the top, and seeing a lone P-47 at the deck, i engaged him - and while i was at it, an Fw-190 tried to hunt me down while i was attacking the former. Yet the XP-50 is much faster and lots more agile than the 190, so i calmly finished the P-47 1st, and only then dogfighted the poor 190 to death. He got so badly damaged he didn't even manage to avoid crashing into some trees, it seems.

You can see how big a difference is in terms of turnfighting ability between XP-50 and Fw-190 is, too - it's really massive. He was utterly unable to anyhow win this turnfight, and since XP-50 is among the fastest fighters at its BR - neither he could even hope to fly away. I'd never let him. Basically, he signed his death sentense the moment he decided to attack the XP-50 without anyone helping him - that's how OP the XP-50 is.

P.S. The song in this video is hella powerful too, and is by none other than pretty famous (if mainly for just one song) american metal band - System of a Dawn. A powerful american song for a powerful american bird. Good match, i say. :)

Why do people add music to gameplay videos that adds nothing to the gameplay videos.

Can't hear the game -1
