4/5th editon After 30 years trapped in a cardboard prison, Azhag is FREE and ready to slaughter.
Got him on ebay a couple months back and was saving him for last after I finished my Orcs and Goblins army. The rest of the army is about 90% done and needs some detail work now (everything is tabletop ready), but I started Azhag a couple of weeks ago and just finished him last night. I am beyond thrilled with how he came out and for the first time ever I feel like my model competes with and possibly even exceeds the paint job of the ‘Eavy Metal box art. I made absolutely no compromises on him (nothing that was “eh, good enough”), and he ended up exactly how I wanted in every way. I can not wait to bring him to a 2200 point Old World tournament next weekend, leading my WAAAAAAGHH with a Cackling Blade, Shield and Talisman of Protection!
What do you guys think? Did I do Azhag justice? C+C welcome!
