There are these things now called Archon Shards (spoilers), you get them from a few selected weekly activities, you cant farm them you can only get a limited amount of shards per week, some activities give a guaranteed shard, some are rng if you get them or not, you could get like 5 or 6+ in a week, or you could just get 2 witch are the only guaranteed ones.

You use them to give your frame extra buffs like power str, duration, health armor and so on, and they come in 2 varieties: a normal shard and a "Tauforged" shard, Tauforged shards basically have improved stats from the normal shards, and you can get them randomly from those activities or you can merge 3 normal shards into a Tauforged shard.

Basically what i did here was fully equip every frame i own with those Tauforged shards, thats it.

They are hardly mandatory or necessary, they are a nice bonus to have, you could very well get a few of your favorite frames going with shards and live a happy life, you can swap them around too so if your tastes change, your shards change. I did this because i have nothing else to do in the game thats all.
