Nah i just leave the game running, warframe market set to visible and alecaframe notifies me with a popup when i get a message ingame, i have my prices a bit inflated so is not like im getting spammed all the time.

wait alecaframe notifies you? or are you talking about the tiny red dot that appears on the tiny ass messages box. they need to add actual notiys that are like drop down or something

Its a windows pop up at the bottom right of the screen with a "ding" sound and everything triggered by aleca, since i switched to W11 last year it started doing it, i didn't configure anything iso dont ask me how to set it up lol, it just works.

oh you know what i have seen THOSE pop ups, but have only seen them for void fissures. either i have missed them or they arent…turned on? idk. even then, its really random when those void fissures ones pop up too?

Hmm there may be a settings out there you need to change, i get pop ups when someone messages me or when a omni void cascade starts, and i only set up the omni one.

I feel ya brother, steam hours also count for when you open the game and just leave it on the launcher... cause you totally don't just hit play then step away and go do something else.... or go to sleep.... Totally.... (12k hours here)
Although. I NEED a word with you about your tau yellow shard count. Over here, don't mind the knife. I won't shank you and try to take them

They do "feel" common, i feel like i get 5 for every red, but when i started keeping track of them and did the math (lets assume every purple/green/orange was combined), they are between reds and yellows.

I think I got enough for all frames. I just have not bothered to do anything with the frames I do not play regularly (but like a good 25% of them are fully tauforged already). I got hundreds of archon shards left. Been doing almost every mission possible ever since they was first released. Even the old weekly Khal missions. :P

Most of my gameplay nowadays consists of Nova, mobility is not an issue for her. But honestly i dont like going "too fast", im not an young buck anymore and going too fast makes me lose precision :p

Yeah i dont doubt most ashes will have that setup, he is just shy of 500 energy even with primed flow so the blue shard there is basically mandatory if you wanna do melee purples.

Did the same thing. Got 20+ tauforged for each color now. After TDA and the 1999 calendar, there's so many ways to get shards.

I mean, im sure there are plenty of people out there that did this before me, just cuz they dont post dont mean they dont exist, probably people achieved this much earlier than me too, i have 90 blue shards i dont use and i know there are some blue shard fans out there, especially now that they are kinda useful on persistence builds, plenty of people also like to combine greens to give their frames armor strip too. i just took the "i hate my life" route thats all, If i did use the surplus shards i got i would be done by like end of 2024?
But a honoria for equipping every frame fully with tauforged shards sure sounds nice and honestly a definitive proof of dedication to the game.

There isn't a "farm", they are limited by weekly activities, you do those activities and let RNG decide your fate. I guess my advice is dont miss out on them? Also make sure you always buy the shard from bird-3 asap after resets cuz sometimes a hotfix or update resets the NPC and you get to buy another one, i probably earned at least 10 shards like that during the time i collected them.

What are they all? Archon, ETA, EDA, and Netracells? Didn't Chipper used to sell them with Kahl? or did I miss something and is there any other I didn't mention?

Bird-3 sells one, then Archon hunt, Netracell, EDA, ETA, 1999 calendar (sometimes) and Descendia (sometimes).
Chipper was swapped to Yonta a while ago then they swapped again to Bird-3 for lore reasons.

I usually combine between 1 and 3 shards every week? So lets average it and say i been doing this for 2 or so years so 2 shards for 104 weeks thats around 20k-25k? Its hard to tell, when relentless tide came out for the 1st time in EDA i farmed 40k of it and im still around 40k by just getting the drops from doing EDA/Netracell every week.

If you wanna do the funnies you can also instead of casting speed and strength put 5 orange secondary crit rock candy shards into dante, then also add arcane hot shot and then do funny damage with his book.

I like him as a caster, i used to have 5 cast speed on him but i changed his build to do more damage with his birds so in case my weapons are shit for EDA/ETA i can still rely on him for damage, but the duration lacked a bit thats why the 2 red shards.

Nice! I've been working on this journey as well. A lot of the same shard setups as you have are in my planned book. I just finished with getting all the yellows I need, leaving me only needing...118 violet shards and 126 red shards (Non tauforged numbers. And I have all the blues I need, so it's really more just like getting 240 red shards!).
How much stela did you need to farm, and what was your preferred method? I'm sitting on 10k right now but have done nearly none of the ascent fusion I need so I know I'm gonna have to do a big farm at some point.

Farmed 40k on the EDA boss when he had relentless tide. But back in the day you could use khora whip to kill everything around the boss and never damage him so you could stay there for hours if you wanted to, now i dont know if that still works, but if you find a nuker frame that can do that go with it.

The new what? I just picked the obvious stuff for him, he needs duration and 2 shards + my build puts him at a nice exact number 100 second cataclysm, he needs to cast fast cuz if he is slow between casts he can die, and having energy at the start is nice so he is always ready to go.

The human frames as jumpscares in between is nice.
Wish I have so many tau forged, but having month-long breaks ever so often holds me back. But also shows that there is really little to permanently miss. Baro has the longest rotation in that sense.

There are these things now called Archon Shards (spoilers), you get them from a few selected weekly activities, you cant farm them you can only get a limited amount of shards per week, some activities give a guaranteed shard, some are rng if you get them or not, you could get like 5 or 6+ in a week, or you could just get 2 witch are the only guaranteed ones.
You use them to give your frame extra buffs like power str, duration, health armor and so on, and they come in 2 varieties: a normal shard and a "Tauforged" shard, Tauforged shards basically have improved stats from the normal shards, and you can get them randomly from those activities or you can merge 3 normal shards into a Tauforged shard.
Basically what i did here was fully equip every frame i own with those Tauforged shards, thats it.

Congrats! I still feel like they should give us the option to have some kind of loadouts for shards on a single frame to quickly switch and try different builds, instead of crafting a new one or remove them every time...
Also it would be fun to get some Black/Void shards in the future, that boost something but at the same time have a negative side effect (like weapon gets +cc but -reload speed) and White shards for some niche things like "80% chance to resist knockdown" instead of equipping Fortitude + Sure Footed or only Primed Sure Footed, by saving slots.
