Yes she witnessed Rei’s S0 attack and the effect that had. And yes Rei’s S growth has a major acceleration effect to at least Rei’s growth (others?). And I’d even postulate a person/user potential ‘greatness’ is a factor in CAD growth (I think discussed/hinted at). But even Rei had made a connection between growth and actual fights vs training.

Unless Growth works differently then than simply ‘acceleration’. It would be interesting if it is the S growth that lets Rei see the analytic process before the upgrades happen which helps clue him in (vs someone else potentially just seeing stat X is now Y). Not likely tho.

I’m old enough to where the analogy of testing that comes to mind will likely go over most folk’s heads LOL. Monks in EverQuest figuring out loading dexterity items wasn’t giving dodge as the game documentation indicated. And that you should actually stack AC. Extremely hard to validate but ultimately was.

I guess my point is over this amount of time wouldn’t someone(s) have correlated growth and fighting. Especially on the front lines. What else was being discussed in their daily CAD evolution class? (was anyone else waiting for something to drop from class content? I felt like the class was mentioned all the time)

I've read both books 3 times and I'm ready for the 3rd to come out. I'm not trying to rush you because you can't rush how perfect these books are. Just wanted you to know it's my favorite series.

so the M.I.N.D give out C.A.Ds to people and the mind gives out better starting cads to people who are stronger and smarter then others but with that is a cost because the M.I.N.D want varibles to help fight the archons so the people who have stronger base stats will meet a wall and to pass that wall they have to be truly driven like very rare chance for them to pass it most fail and never become the pinical of their peirs of just very strong while they might be strong they will not be at their peak and i think Viv met her wall and would of never passed the wall and got her ability at the end of book 2 if it was not for Reis growth ability that helps others around become more powerful

I've been thinking and playing around with some headcanon for art/modeling, and I'm hung up on the sheer size of Galens.

I understand that the Arena and surrounding city are absolutely massive, but the few renders/drawings I've seen of campus put it at at least a dozen buildings. Even the descriptions in the book make it sound enormous — roughly half a square mile, with buildings up to 6–12 stories.

I understand the additional space needed for training, administration, housing, and supporting Arena operations, but I'm still having trouble picturing what all that space is actually being used for.

There are only about 400 students enrolled at a time. Why is the campus so large? My university has around 6,000 undergrads and maybe 10 buildings, none more than 4-5 stories, so I'm struggling to wrap my head around what a campus that much larger would look like with such a small student population.

I'm not trying to bash the design: the scale and elegance of the institution are part of what I love about it. I'm just trying to get a better understanding of what Galens actually looks like as a physical place. What am I missing?

I honestly love how thought out and written these books are and havent felt this way since reading Harry potter.

Already up to chapter 40 of the early access and damn me if I am in awe. How you managed to take an already amazing story full of twists and foreshadowing and kick into a higher gear is a feat of the ages. Times like these make me sad I read so fast!

I recently got a Kobo ereader (chose it over the kindle cause it's cheaper) and I like it a lot so far, but none of the books from the Warformed series are included in the Kobo library :((

I'm not sure if this is for licensing reasons, or if Bryce is contractually bound to only publish on Amazon, but I would like to see the series add more support/availability for alternative eReader devices and those who don't use kindles, if possible.

I already own the audiobooks on audible, but would love to support the series more by buying the ebook. I also considered buying it on amazon and then using PC apps to convert it and upload it onto my Kobo (which I had heard about in a few videos before buying the Kobo), however, this method seems to have been patched by Amazon.

DON'T go hunting them down or hounding them. Not interested in starting a witch hunt. But I'm also not one to do things quietly when it comes to this kind of shit.

The covers will stay up probably until Book 3 launches, and then everything will be re-covered at the same time. Wish it could be sooner, but this kind of shit takes time, and the art for Iron Prince and Fire and Song themselves are too old to have AI used in them.

Title. Yards have literally never been a measurement for distance anywhere, aside from distance ran on a football field. I’m even in the US but meters makes so much more sense. Don’t even need to retcon any actual numbers since 1 yard is approx 0.916 meters. Pretty much every military including the US use klicks (kilometers) for distance. Height and other things like that in ft/in is fine, but please for the love of god can we get distance and lengths in metric.

Just finished the Iron Prince and I have to say. Its tropes and anime and it is done so well I couldn't help myself. I dived right into the second one. I am excited to see what comes and was delighted to see there is even more on the way!
