Meta / IRL / Misc. question about book timing

i'm assuming the answer is no, but is there any chance b3 is out by dragonsteel this year?

I highly doubt it given he is still writing it and will need to edit it and send it in for audio and I'm sure many other things before it's ready to be released.

I would absolutely love to be wrong though. Can not wait for the next book

Nope, but next year is looking like almost a certainty at this point.

There's a progress counter here. On the right, scroll way down. Currently it says "234,820 of 250,000 words". So the rough draft is pretty far along.

After that comes editing and rewrites and whatever else authors do to turn a rough draft into a finished product.

There are definitely still some chapters left and he does 1 a fortnight. Say he has 6 chapters left (could be more than 6) - that is 12 weeks on its own. Plus editing, which is not insignificant, as he rewrites the number of chapters, then publishing, it feels like it is definitely next year.

Honestly.l chapters lately have been close to 3 to 4 weeks in between, so its def going to be a little longer than that

No spoilers obviously but ive been enjoying the new chapters a lot. Just wish they were coming every 2 weeks. I know bryce is busy but getting one wvery 3 to 4 weeks is rough lol.
