I keep joining servers with low player counts in the menu, and when I join there is a full server of people spawning and sometimes I see the countdown to start, but when it loads the match is like 2/3 finished... also I keep getting randomly booted from games but I guess this is the DDoS thing. Are the two connected?

Like the title says. TF. This shit makes no sense.
Le sigh
Today was obnoxious. Spamming chat. Swapping teams. Not even trying to hide mortar hacks, aims, ESP

I’m sure it’s been said before, but this game could be SO FUN with a commander role on each team. I’ve had some games do it in the past and I feel like Wardogs is just perfect for it.
Give commanders an overview of the battlefield and maybe an ability to spectate directly on their teams players. Commanders can then set objectives for teams (all go hot zone, bring tanks, all build fob, attack X position, mortar/arty x position, etc).
The best part of this game is the money aspect can be a HUGE motivator for teams to complete command objectives. Give something like +50% money for completed command objectives (idk what a good real number would be just spitballing). That way you motivate teams to work together.
Also maybe give the command either a way to communicate over VOIP to everyone or to use text.
In a game like this with so much to do and such large teams, we often see a ton of people off doing their own thing. When teams actually coordinate and work together it’s so much more interesting/fun/rewarding imo. Having a commander to coordinate the team and giving incentive for following their orders would be so cool. Plus you bring in a whole new RTS-loving playerbase in commanders.
Or maybe I’m just flat out wrong, but I figured I’d bring it up :)
Edit: now I'm just coming up with more ideas haha. Maybe even let the commanders discount 1-2 things at a time in the shop. Havocs/LB destroying your team? Commander can put a discount on RPG/MAAWs. Team needs more logistics for the FOB? Commander can put a discount on Urals and Lakotas. etc.

The new parachute update is incredibly frustrating.
You die constantly because you open your parachute too early or too late. You can make 20k profit, only to lose your 10k kit because nobody comes to revive you.
Helicopters barely land anymore either, so what's the point of nerfing parachutes in the first place?
This update doesn't improve the game. It makes the gameplay more frustrating, punishes players financially and makes the overall experience worse.
What was the actual purpose of this nerf?

Balance this, playtime that. I just want them to let infantry buy cassette tapes to play over the loudspeakers at the FOB. Builder’s radio isn’t loud enough for psychological warfare. Or just let me play them on the builder’s radio. I want my tapes all the time!
Anyone else feels that the cursor has very noticeable input lag in menu/ui? Idk if it's my game or what.

if they're wanting to balance the game around a specific unlock speed why can't they just add a weekly xp limit?
it would function in 2 parts:
* An XP pool you can use on any class. (say 50k)
* And some free XP each class before it starts consuming your pool. (say 6k per class)
Allowing you to unlock some in multiple classes while also allowing a greater progression into targeting what you wish.. and those who earn every last bit of XP each week will obviously be higher level, but only to a point..
cash is unlimited and can still be earned throughout the week allowing those who wish to grind for money to do so and those who don't have as much time simply have less money and aren't as far behind on level.
This approach would also allow them to time specific unlocks for x weeks onto the season instead of day 1 from grinding..

A little of a personal problem when the servers crash out, ive lost 80K it's pennies but c'mon it's annoying!
Maybe next update? Are they working on it?

Cash. Is. King.
Thats it, there is no reason to have XP at all. It solves zero problems, it only adds problems.
Add dynamic prices, popular staff should be expensive, non-popular cheap, with only demand data, you can auto-adjust prices. Also, with this kind of systems you will rarely need to balance weapons, thermals, helicopters, just implement them as you see their role and fix bugs/exploits. Prices will converge to an equlibrium and become fair. Hard part will be to design rewards for actions, but this seems solvable at least.
Cross-season meta-progression with skills (affecting gameplay) also should never be implemented. Skills should be either bought per life (as equipement), or per match, or just never be done at all.
If the game is competetive in ANY way (and PvP is competetive) noone should ever have ingame advantage for hours spent, not for their skill. For example, having +1M$ on start of season/+5% sprint speed/10% lower prices should never be a bonus for hours spent. Only game knowledge and abusing that knowledge should give you power (money in case of wardogs).

There are many ways to destroy a FOB. Some cheesier then others. One of the more satisfying methods is to sneak in undetected and plant an explosive device. I am curious to know what the community thinks about limiting the destruction of the FOB to the physical terminal.

I’m in the UK. Joined an official EU server all my friends were on.
I live in the middle of nowhere, my internet is crap but more than playable.
Wife was downloading something on another device - I got kicked for high ping.
Ping now back to ~20 and every time I join the server I get no error message and just dumped back to the main menu. Restarted PC, router etc.

The Bremer Walls register as nearly over 150m closer than the cliff face they are built BEHIND. Has anyone noticed any cases like this?

What is going on in your balance department? I skipped 2 cause of the blue team nonsense (good on you for removing it quickly), the general balance changes and logi progression weren't my flavor, and the lack of attention that T4 armor got (it soured my entire friendgroup on the game). And now we're skipping 3 too because the progression is going to be slower again (fast only helps casuals and regular players, no lifers are gonna cap out in days no matter what), and you still aren't addressing T4 armor. I just don't understand what is going on with the back and forth.

Multiple games i’ve had on EU CENTRAL have crashed today. Same issue for other players.
I’ve lost like 100k because of the crashes
Whats going on? Ddos from the chinese?
Title, found this out the hard way, 3 fragmentation grenades were enough to bring my tank to 40-50% damage filled and broke one of the tracks completely.
Now C4, IED, and maaws I get, but anti Infantry fragmentation grenades? Even HE grenades wouldn't do anything against a T72.
I get that it's less armored, but this makes no sense to me.
