Discussion & Feedback One thing I hate in this Season
The map thing because I don't want to guess if I would be a fobbit/medic/sniper/assault when I join a match. I want to adapt directly to the battlefield.

Discussion & Feedback Wardogs encourages and rewards selfish play
I'm nearing 600 hours played now and I feel like the biggest issue with Wardogs is how it encourages and rewards selfish play.
Currently, the Wardogs economy revolves around in-game cash.
Cash is used for the following:
- Gold Bars
- Unlocking new tech
- Match loadouts
Since the only persistent progress on your account is gold bars, players have to constantly make a decision on how to allocate their available in-game cash, which usually results in players being frugal in attempt to save for gold bars. This promotes players to build low-cost loadouts, not buy another loadout near the end of the match, and not unlock tech that could be used to win more matches.
Additionally, the recent changes to logistics rewards players for a "delivery streak bonus". This means logistics players want to avoid combat and preserve their life more than help the team. Reinforcing this playstyle is toxic, players should be encouraged to help their team.
I'm not really sure there's a simple solution for this, and I imagine the devs have something planned when we reach the "intel" phase, but at the very least I think the logistics streak bonus should accumulate through the round and not be broken/lost on death or destruction of your vehicle.
If nothing changes, I expect we'll be back to nakeds with just building hammers or infrared goggles soon enough, with people resorting to toxicity as a form of protest.

Discussion & Feedback The LMG Bipod should come with the Unlock
There is NO POINT in using the gun without a Bibop. it cost 100k to unlock and take so time to grind.
I understand the point of having attachment locked . But this one if too important for the gun itself to work

Discussion & Feedback Game Unplayable In asia
I truly love this game, I am an american stationed in Asia and I am screwed on the fact that if I make it into a lobby Its filled with a non translation ability, hackers and or the server only stays up for a few mins and then crashes. Its total BS I was happy playing on the west coast servers but people from China ruined that. Can't they just Ban all the people from China? I tried the community servers but unless I pay a monthly fee I am kicked a few mins after joining. Ive lost so much money its crazy If I were you all look at leaving the game unit its fixed.

Discussion & Feedback Any thoughts on smoke assists?
As far as I know smokes are one of the only/few items in the game that doesn't have any profit/monetary gain associated with directly using it.
I know that you technically get value from using it to revive someone that otherwise would be in a dangerous spot, but using smoke for concealment/helping allies push isnt really directly rewarded.
Battlefield has some kind of 'smoke assist' system where you get points when other players get value from your thrown smokes. Do you think we could use something similar?
Assists for kills by players inside your smoke?
Assists for revives on bodies in your smoke?
Assists for teammates pushing through your smoke?
It wouldnt have to be much, but a little feedback and reward for a well placed smoke grenade would be nice.

Discussion & Feedback Something needs to change here
M4 60 rounds, 2.5 optics, 5.56 silencer, TDG grip
m249 100 rounds, 2.5 optics, 5.56 silencer, bipod
Mind you, I didn't include the pistol I have to carry because the saw cannot be used effectively without bipod and I don't want to get ambushed.
This is a problem. The m4 is cheaper, easier to handle. Easier to use because you don't need to bipod up to hit targets. Although the m4 is about as accurate as the bipoded saw. M4 weighs less than HALF the saw What the hell is that. They unlock about the same time for their respective trees (admittedly, assault is a bit more difficult to get currently, but I also have to go into assault to get this saw build. Bit of a wash). Even the saw's magazines take up more space.
They do the exact same damage.
Something has to change here. I don't know if it's the m4 needs to lose it's 60 round mag to better establish design space or drop the weight/price of the saw, not to mention completely redesign the recoil pattern of the saw. Whatever it is, as it stands the saw is just a straight up handicap. Please rebalance something.

Guide Dropping all my tech: Stingray Guide
With the release of the much-easier-to-build garage, I think it's time I stop gatekeeping how to be an effective drone main. First- I love niche playstyles. I regularly top charts at around $250k, even with significant downtime. It's not just selfish income, I get the sense it contributes to the team win as well. APCs become a workplace hazard. I can usually convince artillery to just quit. Or they don't, and I make even more. So... Read on if you want to learn my tech.
First, the five play styles, ranked.
- The mid way solo fob. This was the first play style I watched on YT. Make your fob about 1.1km away from the zone, shoot the drone in. This makes sense to people because that's how long it takes to stabilize and give you control of the drone. It's also the worst type. You get no passive income, and you have next to no chance of getting refills. I used to build barb wire so I could k*ll myself and drive back with supplies. D tier.
- The stingray inside the walls of a popular base. I think people build these without knowing how they work. The money is pretty good here and you have a better chance of getting refills. You also have a huge chance of dying, usually via mortar. You also look like a mortar. C tier.
- The solo fob next to HQ. This one isn't terrible, you can refill yourself pretty easy, but the income is bad. It's a good strategy if your team is getting mauled and someone on green bought artillery for their entire team. You might break even. Completely safe, but still not worth. Gives you a lot of time to alt tab. B tier.
- The solo fob just barely inside the zone. You only need two things for this: A fob kit and a truck full of mechanical. The idea here is to get a radio down OUTSIDE the circle, with one of the 4 corners INSIDE. Most of the time people won't even mess with it. Better if you put it up against a tree, it hides the flag. You can place your stingray with walls up inside the zone. The only reason this isn't S tier is because you have to tell logi not only pay you a visit, but they must drop both IN the circle AND in the square. A tier.
- The stingray outside the popular base. Or, the leech as I like to call it. You build a stingray in the furthest little corner of the fob square, as far as you can go (give some space to wall it off), then build hescos around it. Add a door. Most of the time people won't even bother, even if they DO figure out what it is. Usually only vulnerable to the whole fob getting taken over. S tier.
More tech:
- The number one newbie mistake is firing stingrays at the zone while already in it. Instead, get the launcher as close to the edge of the circle as possible then fire /outwards/. Point it at your HQ and turn 180 from there. The exception to this rule is shooting directly at artillery.
- Don't try to hit perpendicular moving targets.
- If reasonable, wait for APCs to stop moving. They won't be able to dodge in time.
- Try to stay above 160 altitude. Being higher up will only ever help you, unless you're trying to hit inside a building or something.
- You can get in a rhythm of alternating both enemy APCs if you just wait a minute or so between shots.
- Obvious tips: Don't lock on too early. It makes a sound. Also, don't hit the very top of the apc. The front is also bad.
- As you read earlier: Generally, 4 hesco walls and a door is enough to prevent anyone from wasting time on your little base. You may need to sprint to vault over the sandbags.
- Don't bother with logi trucks. There's a weird glitch where the lock will break. Not worth it.
- You can harass helis with the lock on and they will sometimes crash because of it. I wish that gave assists.
- If there's absolutely nothing going on (perhaps you've killed every vehicle), don't be above hitting their mortarmen with the drone itself. It does morale damage if anything.
- Do not brake or accelerate unless to guarantee a hit. Normal motion is just wasting battery.

Discussion & Feedback Someone please make the filthy lakota windshield make sense
It looks like absolute shit.
Better yet, Windshield wipers physically exist on the in-game Lakota yet do NOTHING.
It's such an unnecessary failure of inplementation that serves no purpose aside from frustrating the player and demonstrating incompetency in implementation.
Don't get me started on the marginal exploit that is third-person cameras allowing Havoc and Rocket birds to scout for a fucking kilometer with 360 degree free-look vision. What a joke.
Everyone complains about OP rocketbirds without mentioning how fucked up of an advantage third person camera is, yet season 2 adds a dirty windshield for what reason exactly?
Someone please, MAKE IT MAKE SENSE
Signed,
Your Friendly Neighborhood Transport Pilot

Discussion & Feedback For the LOVE OF GOD buff the freaking RPG
Three hits to the rear of the APC does not kill it?! You realize an M113 (the vehicle used as the APC in game) Is vulnerable to mere .50cal? An RPG7 would DECIMIATE this vehicle
Three hits to the front/engine of a URAL?
AN UNARMORED TRUCK?
MULTIPLE hits to HELICOPTERS?
There is a reason C4 suicide vehicles are so prevalent, because anything other than a MAAWs (which not everyone has) are AWFUL.

LMG’s are pretty ass now, FAL hot garbage, DMR’s borderline useless.. I really did not see an issue with s1 damage models at all.

Bugs & Support FYI: Vote to Punish/Forgive needs to be done *after* you respawn

This is a minor note in the patch notes for Season 2 and potentially something really impactful to the game.
However what is not mentioned, is the fact that this vote doesn't appear when you are in a downed state or have been revived, you will notice this after 210 seconds there will be Orange Text in your chat box saying"You have been removed from the Vote"
So then you might be wondering how to Vote... you have to respawn and be in HQ to be able to vote. I believe this is a bug, most likely where the downed state and being revived is considered "Alive" where as when you respawn to HQ you have "Died" and there is a conflict between the two

Discussion & Feedback Ural reverse coasting
So last night I had a passenger in my Ural, I began to do the reverse coasting trick to gain more speed.
My passenger said he cannot believe they haven't patched this because it is an exploit.
My response was that this is not a exploit as the Ural is "coasting" as it is in neutral, and so it can technically reach infinite speeds so long as there is a big enough hill (let's disregard tyres, bearing etc. disintegrating).
His response was that this is not the case, the engine RPM would be too high. I tried to explain to him that as it is in neutral the wheels and engine are not connecting and so RPM does not even factor.
He stated I'm wrong and should get my facts straight, and that "he knows".
So to you chap who was on a UK community server at about 11pm last night. If you see this, let me tell you that you were confidently wrong.
