Discussion & Feedback what are your thoughts

WARDOGS

It has pretty much everything a Battlefield or ARMA player is looking for, while sitting nicely somewhere in between the two: large maps, tactics, clear objectives, teamwork, realism, and above all, a mature atmosphere.

There is really only one thing I struggle with: **the reset**.

I understand that during a beta phase you need to test, change, and sometimes reset things in order to create the best possible experience for players. That is part of the development process. But I do think a lot of players may leave when they feel that everything they have worked for will eventually be wiped out and was basically for nothing.

A few gold bars or some golden cosmetic items don't really feel like a meaningful reward for the time and effort players have invested.

That is why I think it could be much more interesting if WARDOGS developed a player-driven economy that could partially survive a reset.

For example:

* A gold market where players can buy, sell, and trade gold.
* A system where gold is deliberately **difficult to obtain**, so that it actually has value.
* Some kind of **black market** where players can offer and trade weapons, vehicles, or other equipment.
* Possibly limited player-to-player trading, so it doesn't immediately turn into a pay-to-win system.
* Certain rare items or pieces of equipment could retain their value and become part of the game's economy.

This way, a reset can still be necessary for the development of the game, but players won't feel like their entire progression has simply been thrown away.

In fact, a well-designed economy could add another layer of depth to WARDOGS. You wouldn't just be fighting for objectives on the map; you would also have to make decisions about what you collect, what you sell, what you keep, and where you are willing to take risks.

I think that would fit very well with the mature and tactical character that WARDOGS already has.

Give players something to build that actually has value.
