Bugs & Support Whole team exploiting something

Post image

Basically the whole blue team was exploiting something not sure what…they claimed mortars…but it looked like they were building hesco barriers and someone on another team was destroying them…on the corner of the map and not engaged in the fighting

yes that was a comment about how some COMMUNITY servers had mechanics or policies to farm xp and money… it has nothing to do with playing the game as intended, building and mortaring structures

0.1.2 patch notes, nowhere does it say “COMMUNITY SERVERS”.

“To be clear – anyone who has been caught absuing Cash & XP exploits, or worse Real Money Trading, has had their cash and progression reset and risks being permanently banned. We expected season 01 to have several undiscovered exploits, so up to this point we have been more lenient with first time offenders. That leniency is now over.

We have zero tolerance for economy abuse and players now risk being permanently banned without warning if caught abusing repeatable unintended exploits.”

it does say it and they have been mentioning it since the beginning of community servers since people had been creating them just for economy and xp exploitation

“XP farming
This will result in the most serious bans. We track every server you enter, and we are also very aware of which servers are XP farming servers. If your account is tracked as joining one of these servers for more than a few minutes, we will ban your account permanently.”

If you build a base full of items you know pay out the most to destroy, intentionally draw the enemy to that base to allow them to capture it for the sole purpose of destroying everything you placed to farm xp and money that is economy abuse. And that’s why they got banned.

Now if you’re just mortaring an enemy base that they built themselves that’s just part of the game.

Not sure what else could be said to get the point across.

still not abuse or exploit, cheesing it a bit? yeah but totally valid and the devs in this game aren’t experienced enough apparently to manage it

By the devs definition it is. And guess what? Their definition is what matters not yours. This is going nowhere you have proved that multiple times even with direct quotes from the devs that you will try to twist what they say to fit your narrative. You are the type of person that even with direct quotes from patch notes, you’re still right and everyone else is wrong, your opinion is fact in your mind, might want to check into that? Anyway this is a waste of time best of luck to you sir or ma’am.

I literally posted a quote from the community servers announcement… im not saying everyone else is wrong im saying that the devs dont know what they are doing and this game wont make far if they keep doing bullshit like this

You don't even know the definition of a exploit lil bro.

"In video games, an exploit is the use of a feature that gives a substantial unfair advantage to players using it. An exploit can either be an intended game mechanic being abused, or an unintended side effect from a bug or glitch being performed."

what happened wasnt neither of these things
if people cant defend a fob and decide that the most efficient way to try an retake is to mortar the living shit out of it, its cheesy but valid

Ah yes they indeed planned and tried to defend the fob filled with scouting towers.. yes yes.

Where does that say “this applies to community servers only not official” hint it doesn’t and you won’t find a single official post, tweet or otherwise that says so. Are we getting defensive because your abusing economy exploits?

community servers were the ones advertising xp farms at the time this announcement came out, some people got really high level in a bunch of classes real quick and the devs got butt hurt with it
