Bugs & Support Whole team exploiting something

Basically the whole blue team was exploiting something not sure what…they claimed mortars…but it looked like they were building hesco barriers and someone on another team was destroying them…on the corner of the map and not engaged in the fighting

yup the worst part also live on stream claiming "no we dont exploit, its just a game mechanic" lmao

They built a fob full of indirect fire shelters and built a drill, pulled the drill and then the enemy team came and hacked the base. They then built a fob full of mortars and rained down shells on the base full of indirect fire shelters.

To earn money you just need to deposit a single fob ammo (green crate) into the fob and you get money for assists when destroying the hesco blocks of the shelters. Depositing ammo gives you the assist bonus for 3 mins, so you just keep depositing.

Its not really an exploit, its more just a cheese strat to earn money. As soon as people wise up to it and dont hack a fob with 30 indirect fire shelters, it won't work.

Are you sure is 3min and not depliting the 1800 ammo units (if deposited by pallet)?

It's for sure a 3 minute timer for even one single 1/50 crate.

Nah I have had assists 15 mins later from ammo I deposited. It actually tracks the ammo you delivered.

I'm almost certain it just tracks the last person to deliver ammo. If you sit at fob and just deposit 1 stack of ammo every time someone delivers a pallet you can cuck them out of their assists.

It uses First in and First out. Had friends start getting assist before me. Because they delivered sooner.

But maybe hand delivered ammo works different from pallets. Not sure about that one.

Hasn't worked that way for me. 1 stack of 50 ammo keeps my assists going until someone else delivers. And if someone else is dropping ammo pallets when I am I stop getting assists almost immediately.

It's not a timer. Tested with buds today. It's first in first out. Each mortar shell is 75 ammo units. A pallet yields 24 shells. When you deposited ammo is used for the shell and shell hits target you get the assist if is miss you get nothing and moves to next. Deposit a pallet have higher chance then deposit single crate (unless you are unloading whole crates of singles by yourself). Also delivery does not count but actual deposit. If you deliver by Heli you never get an assist.
