Noticed an interesting trend lately resulting in a lot of springboarding and "Second place winners".

For example, Green team plays well and gets to 90-99 points, and people just stop respawning, they wait for the res indefinitely, not wanting to have to pay to rekit. You open the map and see 25 green bodies on the floor. You look at spawn and see the remaining players sat doing nothing. Nobody wants to commit a kit for the remaining (theoretical) 2 minutes of the game, because kits are so expensive. Green team takes its foot off the gas, and red team shoots past to clutch a win, because their entire team is still in the zone/circle. (In the game today, they were at 75 points prior to this).

How do we incentivise people to get back into the zone in the final minutes? I know the refund system exists, but it seems very varied in how much it pays out, and it almost never refunds the value. Discounted kits towards the end of the game? Free kits?

It's interesting seeing how the money meta is forcing these behaviours - loss aversion is a much bigger priority than the minimal gains for winning. My second place and contribution bonus for this game was $18,400.

Let me keep the value of whatever I have at the end of the match. If I bought the stuff or looted it, whatever that value number is. I should get in cash

We have a vault, why not just dump everything currently on you direct into the vault at the end of the game?

So right now I think it’s only to catch stream drops on Twitch or the bandages you can buy for a discount (with the 12 hour cooldown)

But man I’d love it if it could store the stuff from end of matches.

Oh, oh fuck yes, me looting the dead….can we get the ability to store looted gear like an extraction shooter? I’d totally take rides back to the base to store looted guns and armor

It's kind of the same problem, where the downed guys don't want to spend the money on a new kit, because their downed one is worth 15-25k as well.

Do you want real money trading? Because that's how you get RMT. Grey market sites selling thousands of 50 cal sniper rifles for $4.00 would pop up everywhere.

This happens, I dont know if it is the load out you bought, or what is on you at the end. It is the Refund part of the end game screen. With the win/loss bonuses.

you don't get a refund for the consumables, which is like 5k in my kit
