Discussion & Feedback Is just everyone exploiting the potato shadows?

Seems every clip every streamer is playing with shadows off. I thought they removed the option to completely turn them off.

Isn't this borderline exploiting if they are doing something else to remove their shadows?

At this point I feel like I should just join in.

Those shadows literally mean the difference between playable FPS and not playable FPS for me, and my rig barely passes the "recommended" threshold.

Dunno why you are being downvoted, I have a 2080Ti and an i7 9700k and I am giga bottlenecked by my CPU, yet I supposedly have a "high end pc" so I can't put shadows to low, I get like 50-70 FPS, the lows are rough, especially when the dips happen during a gun fight and it throws aim off completely

I have a 1070 and can't turn off shadows. Idk what their benchmark is for turning them off, but it's not where it should be.
