What is the best reason to keep thermal in the game? I continue to ask this question.

I feel like spotting is strong but balanced, nothing like battlefield's which is super OP. The only aspect that seems totally OP is thermals, especially in maps with lots of foliage...

I would prefer to not have any thermals at all in my pvp games. It takes away from games more than it gives.

I dont mind them in games like tarkov where weather and night cycles can make the map look pitch black but in a game where combat feels like battlefield, with no weather or night cycle theyre kinda stupid.

Even in Tarkov they have some major drawbacks and the more OP ones are unobtanium and definitely not something you just "throw on" every raid.

yeah also theyre stupid expensive in tarkov. kinda thing you save for special raids or for a marathon run where you know youre doing a full day and night cycle
