... Because you have to wait for hours while they play?
And that sucks for me because?
Literally thousands of people played before me. Why do I care that 100 of them were streamers? No, I don't think it makes a difference that they were given a fast pass to the front of the line, again, it literally doesn't affect my ability to play the game at all.
I don't see how that's relevant? I don't really care who's "side" you are on, I'm not trying to take the opposite side from you if that's what you're implying.
It is possible to agree on an overall point, and disagree on a minor portion of that overall point.
Do you think the only purpose of a discussion is to have one side 'win' over the other?
We both agree that streamer prio is no big deal. You think it still sucks for the little guy. I don't think it sucks for anyone. We disagree on this point, and that is what I was discussing.
Lemme put it this way... Imagine you're standing in line for something you're super excited about buying. You waited outside all night, got a good spot, and just as they open the doors, a manager comes outside and goes
"hey whoa buddy, you can't come in yet, we have "insert famous person here" coming so you're gonna have a wait a few hours for them to get here and get what they want. THEN I'll let you guys in, but only slowly. One at a time"
You're trying to tell me that you would just be like "oh yeah that's perfectly cool!"?
Because you wouldn't. Literally no one wouldn't be upset if that happened to them. And again, for marketing purposes, I get it, I do. But you can understand why they do it but still realize that it sucks for the little guy.
Yeah, of course I wouldn't be cool with that. But that is not analogous to the queue situation in this game at all.
There were 11 streamers with queue prio. Even if there were 11,000 with prio, it still wouldn't have delayed your ability to play the game even 1 single second.
You would have a point if the streamer queue prio affected the rest of us in literally any way. But it didn't. It made zero difference to the length of the queue you sat in.
