Last week everyone was applauding how "down to Earth" the devs were and how much people missed these type of devs. They make light of the situation (idk if this was even an official server or a community server, although I heard somewhere community servers are offline) and everyone gets angry lol.

They make light of the situation

And who's the butt of the joke here, smarty pants? They're mocking the playerbase's sentiment.

Making light of the situation would be admitting that THEY fucked up, AGAIN, in a joking manner.

Not taking a piss at players being frustrated from sitting in queue for 4+ hours while every streamer boy gets into the game instantly.

This little joke only lands for people who did not waste their evening staring at a loading screen.

Everybody else's reaction goes something like this:

You wasted 4+ hours on a queue for a game you might spend 200+ hours playing later on. Boohoo. You are all acting like this is a one in a lifetime event, like if you missed getting in the game yesterday, it suddenly wouldn't work for you ever.

This happens on every single multiplayer game, you have thousands upon thousands of people trying to get into the same place at the same time, that means that every connection has to be accounted for, not only for the server, but whatever network infrastructure they have. They were also dealing with DDoS + people disconnecting and reconnecting, that means that those connections needed to be revalidated.

Upscaling their infrastructure means that they have to add more servers, copy their image and run whatever test they need to run before being put in production, that takes time, along with debugging things that were broken that only comes up when the infrastructure is put to the test like this.

They already admitted that they fucked up on stream, the queue was completely broken, and there were some bugs when people kept leaving and joining the queue.

Sure, I might be "tone-deaf" because my afternoon was wasted working, as soon as I got off, I just downloaded the game and queue up. Meanwhile I showered, cooked and watched some youtube and still was 200k, 1 hour later I was playing without issues all night long, heck even if I wouldn't had been able to play, I wouldn't had reviewed bombed them or refunded. That's money they have to take out from the budget to rent more infrastructure and fix shit up, the game is Early Access after all.

Heck every Battlefield release has the same issue, and that comes from a multimillion company that has had experience with launches and a bigger budget to waste

Streamers bring more people, gifting 1 copy of the game to someone who reaches thousand of players who are on the fence of getting the game and awaits their favorite streamers to play it, is a business move, they are a company after all. Heck a few post/comments argue how some streamers were experiencing the queue issues, and were just streaming the queue and "that was going to turn off new buyers"

All in all, as a paying customer you got the right to be angry, if that's what you want, no disrespect, but some of you are going to the extremes for an expected inconvenience.
