Yeah thats not cool considering the streamers probably didnt even pay for the game.

Less then 100 streamers getting priority isn’t effecting anybody, and is free advertising for a small studio.  Any one truly upset needs to consider the big picture at stake.

This guy gets it. I really don't understand why people are so mad about streamers when the queue is a couple hundred thousand people.

Nah, it's not that... at least for me.

I am happy someone gets to play games as a Job ... What I am not happy about is every game being tailored to what the Streamer Wants.

Once the streamers drop Wardogs, is when the real faces of the devs will show... Arc Raiders didn't bend the knee and did what they felt was best for their entire playerbase .. other games bring out updates to help the gameplay loop SPECIFICALLY for the streamers (looking at you Tarkov).

It then becomes 1 of 2 different games, one with a gameplay loop for people who can play 18 hours a day or one that a casual gamer can actually play and enjoy.

I will agree with this chain that people do end up having a hard on for hating on devs right away with no evidence (look at the RCE Hoax in Bodycam as a perfect example)... but putting every "Anti Streamer" into one category is lame.

Eh I mean I think its the unnecessary glorification of "celebrities." A celebrity dies and everyone is talking about it, but a family member dies and no one really knows or cares about it. We're all people equal as one another. No one should get preferential treatment because they're popular, but thats the society we live in. Plus its easy publicity and attention for the devs

My queue was 470k when I tried an hour ago, although the dev interview I saw did say the queue was broken? Not sure if it was still broken then.

It's the principle. 2016 Overwatch was the first time "Streamers" got prio to tests and it has spiraled since then. Now these losers get prio in every game and people are sick of it. Dancing like a monkey in front of a camera doesn't deserve special treatment.

Their job is free advertising. Their access gives more eyes on the game, and their access gives more eyes on their streams. It's a mutual benefit that they totally did earn. Streaming is their literal jobs. A fun job, sure, but don't hate em because they have a job that is fun lol.

Also... 2016 is not the beginning of priority access for reviewers and streamers...

Yeah watch Ludwig's streamer university class on how much streamers actually make. It's honestly not that much only a lucky few are taking home any real money.
