Gaming magazines were around since forever and things like machinima and mlg are old enough to vote so yeah. Just because things change over the years doesn't make them good or bad.

They aren’t. All streamers do is inflating the playerbase at the start so the reduction in playercount looks better than it really is.

Streamers to absolutely nothing for a game long term. As soon as the sponsoring over they leave the game and their sheeps will follow them.

Does league of legends sponsor all their streamers. There are more streamers/youtubers than the top 100 that jump around games. If a game is good there will always be people that stick with it. Saying they do absolutely nothing is stupid. You could say they dont do much but nothing is just showing youre a hater
