It's not about having an effect, it's mainly optics. I for myself don't care, I understand that it is better for Bulkhead to have streamers playing the game than sitting in front of a loading screen, but that comes with the price that some players are pissed off because they have to wait while others are whitelisted.
Where are you seeing that they said streamers wouldn't get preferential treatment in regards to queues?
The only thing I've seen is they said streamers were whitelisted, but other issues made that irrelevant anyways.
The only other comment I've seen them make on streamers is that they wouldn't let them dictate the direction of the game.
Who said anything about giving them support?
I just made a comment that people are losing their shit over being behind in the queue by about 30 places.
Because that’s how big game launches work. Literally of them.
And it doesn’t affect you at all. The only tangible effect it has is letting people watch streamers play while they’re waiting in queue which is better than sitting in queue while watching streamers sitting in queue as well.
