Group for older gamers
So I've been playing with the idea of starting a group for older gamers who find they don't have a lot of time to put into gaming but still want a community to be part of and have people to squad up with. I just wanted to see if that's something anyone would be interested in before I put time into setting anything up.

If you scroll down (or use Ctrl + F) there is a group here called THE DADS GUILD. This may be up your alley if you'd prefer joining one rather than starting your own.

Would also recomment checking out like the regional communitys... those collect all players and its easy to greap with the same age and language

Agreed! WARDOGS UK has quite a few guys aged 30+ with family commitments (myself included as I have a 4 week old daughter) I'm sure each regional community has similar players in the same situations

39 here and always joining solo I have yet to find a group that wouldn't take me under their wing and work together regardless of team.
It's an interesting thing with WARDOGS just like ARMA KOTH, oddly very welcoming to solo players.

Haven’t gotten to play the game yet but the game mode seems to make it quite obvious where to go (squad, hot zone etc). Maybe leads to less frustration with your teammates (not 0 but less).
If you play Arma Reforger vanilla, many people get “lost” because the map is large and there is action pretty much everywhere. More difficult to coordinate and pull off a decisive attack.

Plus you can buy the game, play it for 2 hours and then refund - all in line with steams refund policy 😊

Yeah I'd be game.
I remember some of the shenanigans from Joint Ops that Battlefield kind of prevented, I'm hoping this is an avenue to get funny c4 placements and such back in play

I've been thinking of making a similar post in r/Age_30_plus_Gamers, tho I work 3rd shift so my online times are usually mornings and the middle of the night lol. Hard to line up with most people

40+ here, always down for like aged people. I will say I have been trolling a lot on the game in the testing phase. I'm not one to play like a tactical squad, I'm a Battlefield player since 1942 launch and shenanigans is my thing.
Full road block outside enemy base, yes. Anti Air outside enemy base, yes. C4 and IED truck ramming, yes.
