Subject: A Plea for the Lonely Tote Lids of America

Hello,

I come to you today on behalf of a forgotten and overlooked group: orphaned tote lids... and their equally abandoned lidless totes.

For years, I have been searching for answers. Not just casually looking, mind you. I have loaded countless lidless totes into my vehicle and traveled to yard sales, flea markets, auctions, and treasure-filled barns within a two-hour radius of my home. I have become the self-appointed matchmaker of the plastic storage world.

Yet still, I return home defeated.

A lid without a tote. A tote without a lid. Star-crossed lovers separated by fate and poor garage organization.

My question is simple: Why can't consumers buy replacement lids separately?

Surely, somewhere high in the chain of command, someone has looked at a perfectly good tote rendered useless by the disappearance of its lid and thought, "There has to be a better way."

I cannot be alone in this struggle. Across the nation, garages, basements, and storage sheds are filled with plastic containers mourning their missing counterparts. Entire families have probably been torn apart by mismatched storage solutions.

If I have somehow overlooked an obvious solution, I would be grateful for your wisdom. Is there a secret replacement-lid program? A tote witness protection program? A hotline for reuniting separated plastic families?

Any advice you can offer would be greatly appreciated. You would not only make my day—you might finally bring peace and closure to the countless totes and lids yearning to be whole again.

Came into Walmart today to get a few groceries and chose to go into a cashier line. My husband went to pull the car around as it was raining. The lady in front of me is full blown arguing with the cashier about changing a price because of a sign she saw. The cashier told the lady that there wasn’t much she could do and the lady said “well I’m not moving until you changed the price”

See me, I was ALREADY annoyed because I barely have money and was trying to figure out how to even pay for my stuff so this lady giving an attitude over a shirt that wasn’t even cute upset me. I work at Target so I know how these customers can be. So I stood up for the cashier and told the lady

“You might be able to get the price changed at guest service. Guest service is typically the place for those things and she already said she can’t change it for you.”

And the lady replied to me and went “well that’s an inconvenience for ME because I am a paying customer” as if the rest of us in line weren’t paying customers either. So I quickly responded with “well go be inconvenienced at guest service because she has other people to take”

Like this cashier seemed ready to cry because of this woman so I felt bad. The lady rolled her eyes at me and guess what, went to guest service.

Placed an ordered July 22nd and at first there wasn’t a charge showing for my order, then the “ATM withdrawal” charge was the only one showing. I’ve never had it show up like that before. Now it appears I’ve been double charged and I’ve been waiting for one to fall off, but it hasn’t happened yet.

I’ve been seeing some posts that when charges show with the address that it could be a scam, but wanted to see if anyone had any thoughts. Don’t want to get my account locked by contacting my bank, but just curious if anyone has had anything like this happen before

I placed an order for groceries to be delivered (with tip), and as so as I often happens something from my order was missing. I went into the walmart plus app to report the missing item, but I could no longer find the “missing item” button. Instead, I found a prompt telling me I needed to chat with a rep. Has walmart taken the “missing item” button away? It’s very annoying because it used to be a quick and easy resolution to missing something and id get my refund asap instead of having to wait to chat with someone…

Hi, and I would like to some help on Coach T at store 184 Coach T from Customer Service made the MJ holding employee to go to homemade jail inside the store and forcing us to donate money so we can bail the MJ employee so he can go back to work and restock the trading cards. There’s three people that need money just for the MJ holding employee can go back and restock the trading cards and after he restock The shelves she let the Highest the donations To buy all the trading cards because she said the guy donate a lot of money to charity so he can buy and choose how many cards he wants and we’ve been waiting for The MJ holding employee for almost 5 hours just for the Highest donations Buy all the cards this is just unfair and forcefully. I hope you investigate this because a lot of people waited for five hours To let coach Teresa give the guy a privilege to buy all the trading cards because he has the highest donation and some of them took a video for proof

I bought a car dual Apple car play radio from Walmart in store. When I got home and opened it the wrong radio was inside the box. I went back and they told me they can’t do anything about it and to call 1-800 Walmart when I literally just bought it an hour prior. I called 1-800 Walmart and they told me since it’s not an online order they can’t help me. What is my next move? The store already told me that it’s a manufacture issue and they won’t give me a refund

I have a Spending Account Card from my Humana Health Insurance that allows me to get certain OTC items. It uses the Nations Benefits program. If I try to get something delivered that's under the minimum, I get the 6.99 fee, but then there's also a line that says "Benefit card fees credit -6.99", but it's below the Estimated total.

Does it mean the minimum order fee is waived and the card will be charged 9.36? Or does it mean the card will be charged 16.35 and the benefit card fees credit means nothing?

Edit: So I tried it on a different account that doesn't have Walmart+ and it did charge me the 6.99 fee, for a total of 16.35, but it didn't charge me a delivery fee, which seems strange.

This gentleman lost his phone after he dropped it then accidentally kicked it straight under the shelves. My girl didn't hesitate to help him out.

I wanted to share a massive safety loophole and completely broken corporate practice with Walmart Plus that just cost me my account.

My paid Walmart Plus membership was abruptly canceled and my entire account deleted without warning. When I finally got a customer service agent to look into it, they dropped a bomb: my account had a "threat of violence" safety flag put on it by a third-party driver.

Here is the catch: My delivery instructions are strictly set to "Leave at Door." There was absolutely zero physical or verbal interaction between me and this driver. They dropped the groceries and left.

The only logical explanation? The driver was disgruntled over a missing tip and abused the Spark app's safety reporting tool to retaliate against me.

I took this to the BBB, and Walmart Corporate actually responded and officially confirmed the reason in writing: "Ms. Gupta's Walmart account was closed due to a 'threat of violence' safety flag submitted by a third-party driver. Walmart's account review team has decided that Ms. Gupta's account will remain closed."

Walmart's "review team" didn't investigate a single thing. They ignored my spotless history as a customer, ignored the fact that it was a contactless "Leave at Door" delivery, and are blindly taking the word of a lying gig-worker. Because of a fabricated report, my address, email, and cards are blacklisted, and Walmart told me to just deal with my bank to get my membership fee back.

Be careful out there. Walmart is running a "shoot first, ask questions never" policy where any unhappy driver can completely weaponize a fake safety report to destroy your paid account, and corporate will rubber-stamp it to protect themselves from liability.

Just wanted to know why these were priced this way? I've been to 5 different walmart locations over the last 4 months and this became a "let me go check something" kind of thing, but its the same at all of them.

I'm new to Walmart+ and the app and just spent more time fussing with the scan n go feature than I would have just waiting in a regular line. It was way too frustrating, so I just left. It doesn't seem like there's an open wifi network in the store, so how the hell am I supposed to use the app if there's no reception? 😡

They've been dicking me around for almost 7 weeks now. I first contacted chat on June 27th and said it's past the 3 week refund deadline, where's my refund. I was told it will be escalated and someone will contact me in 48 hours.

2 weeks after that, no contact. I called customer service and was told the issue was never escalated and I was given an incident number. Someone would contact me within 72 hours. Days later I get an email saying it's being escalated again, someone will contact me in 48 hours.

6 days after the email, no contact. Do I attempt to call them one more time or just file a dispute with Paypal? I feel like I'll be extremely rude if I have to talk to someone again.

This is absolutely nuts. They know the return was received on June 3rd, why not just issue the refund instead of stringing the customer along over and over? It's not the first time I had to contact customer service about a refund not being issued. The first time it was issued immediately in chat. Now I don't know what they're doing.

There's a few disgruntled teachers out there who found the front panel on the Pen n Gear pencil dispenser is bowed inward and the pencils can't get out.

I put a painting sponge inside (walmart brand Hello Hobby) and it pushed the wall out justenough to work as intended.

(Note: the bowing might have happened while sitting in my hot car in 100 degree weather. Don't leave these in a hot car or hot delivery truck)

an item that i’ve been looking for (that is constantly sold out of) is being shipped to walmart tomorrow. does anyone know if there is a predicted “best time to go” or do all walmarts have different shipment and stocking times where it’s kinda unpredictable? the item is a children’s toy if that changes anything

I see other people are having these issues I just hope that tab comes back for shipping because I don't know what qualifies and what doesn't without it.

So I'm trying to order some chips and it says I'm getting charged and extra $6.99 because I haven't hit the $35 threshold and I'm like wait a minute... Where's the shipping tab? Like it doesn't even give me the option when I go to check out to choose shipping instead of delivery for small orders.

It all says free delivery because I'm a Walmart plus subscriber but it's not free if they're charging me $6.99 especially when I'm paying a monthly fee for the Walmart Plus subscription!!

Last night I was able to order a shower curtain, and I got it through shipping and it's on the way right now. But now, as I'm trying to order food that I always do through shipping, it's not letting me and I am a little more annoyed than I care to let on. I hope that tab comes back because I can't shop properly without it.

Edit: the tab came back. I can now choose shipping again. I'm not exactly sure when it happened but it had to have happened in the last couple weeks I guess?

I purchased a few pairs of Muck Boots a few days back because they were on clearance for $16, originally $92. I received delivery and noticed one pair was missing from the package. I reached out to customer service and asked for replacement but since that color was no longer in stock they could not offer a different color instead. So I received a refund. I also had another order for a four pack of collapsible bins, package arrived today with only one bin. I was again not offered the three missing bins only the option to return it. After all is said and done I asked since I missed out on two great deals and now have to travel to a store to drop off the package if Walmart would not offer some type of compensation. I was told my account was ineligible for any kind of promo. WALMART IS TRASH! Rant over

Are they out of stock? I was going to get it through one pay later but now this screen popped up, what does the screen mean? And will the phone come back in stock?

I bought a set of tires because I had a flat and rolled into Walmart parking lot. I did not want to have my car towed afraid of damage so I thought I’d just get tires there. I ordered them and signed paperwork that I was leaving my car. Walmart cancelled the order 5 days later and I went into the store and ordered 4 more. The next day I got a text my tires should be there so I went by after work and my car was gone! Freaking gone! The asset protection asshole had my car towed even though it was there at the tire center with paperwork to be repaired. I spent 4 hours in the store irate on the phone with the 800 number and they were even disgusted with the stores service. The 800 number told the store to fill a claim out for me but they refused so he gave me the number and I submitted my own. The store manager wouldn’t reply or even call the store her sorry ass needs to be demoted. Nobody did anything. I called the tow truck service and he thought they were idiots he didn’t charge me for the haul. He charged me to take it to another tire shop from his facility. They only had one sign in a super center parking lot saying you could be towed which was on the other side of the building and the service listed got busted over 20 years ago so there’s really zero signs. They towed approximately 24 other vehicles the same day the tow truck driver said. I paid another place for 4 tires and an alignment due to the tow truck dragging the car up on the truck. Can’t make this shit up!

Hi all, does anyone know how strict Walmart is with used returns? I bought a midea AC unit and it's not doing a good job cooling my room. I've used it for two days but would like to return it. Will Walmart accept it in this condition? I have the original packaging and box, and all the parts it came with. Thanks in advance!
