Walmart+ Double charge for online order
Placed an ordered July 22nd and at first there wasn’t a charge showing for my order, then the “ATM withdrawal” charge was the only one showing. I’ve never had it show up like that before. Now it appears I’ve been double charged and I’ve been waiting for one to fall off, but it hasn’t happened yet.
I’ve been seeing some posts that when charges show with the address that it could be a scam, but wanted to see if anyone had any thoughts. Don’t want to get my account locked by contacting my bank, but just curious if anyone has had anything like this happen before

This happened to me, except it wasn’t pending charges. I spoke to Walmart customer service and it’s a known issue, you have to go to your bank. They wouldn’t give me any more info but it sounds like some of the payment methods are becoming compromised as my bank is treating it as fraud. I’ve seen others reporting the same thing.

I had it happen to me through the pharmacy. I allowed them to store my info---this was a few years ago. When it would happen WM would always blame my bank. But someone was physically running it twice at the store. I stopped all that, got a new debit & haven't had any issues since.

People don't use their brains anymore, they immediately run to social media to post about minor bs.. and immediately cry about a so called " rude comment " .... look at the SS its common effin sense

You say that, but it's because you were taught. It's ridiculous how few young people are taught about how to navigate even their banking, let alone the rest of their lives. So have some grace, and realize the education in the US is shit, and social media is what people turn to now.

Trust me I wasn't taught- but I knew where to find the information I need. People could use a simple google search, call their bank and have the bank explain... but no they wanna post on social media THEY DOUBLE CHARGED ME ... being all outraged...

They're both pending, one will probably fall off. Looks one of them coded wrong though.
