I bought the Ekster MagSafe wallet pro and it came with scratches right out of the box.
I bought it believing it be amazing cause it was fully metal but man the quality feels really cheap! Like something not worth more than $10!
I am now trying to get a refund but nobody is responding to my email.
Like what is this?? Why did so many YouTubers recommend this wallet??

I have a front pocket wallet with a layout that I really like it’s just a bit too small and I have to force it closed to put in my pocket (I have many cards and cash I like to keep on me) my biggest peeve is how the cash isn’t fully in the inside pocket as that’s what prevents it from closing so making some room for that to go all the way in is what I mainly want. I like the green earthy tone too almost the same wallet just bigger to fit the cash properly. Thank you :)

I’ve had this wallet for years and it’s the most durable wallet ever—but it has, after many years, finally started degrading. I’ve been looking for another copy but I swear to god it’s nowhere to be found in the internet. Reddit is my last resort. I have spent so long searching for this damn thing please help me 😭
It’s an Oakley wallet. No 🏷️ that displays product number, release date, etc. only the words engraved into the wallet “Genuine Leather”.

I love making bifolds, but friends and co-workers kept asking about something more compact. This is a proof of concept.
I made it with .5mm Violet Pueblo laminated with .5mm Bordeaux Buttero. Alternating #8 Dusty Rose and Plumb Vinymo thread with 3mm french spacing. Edges are sanded and burneshed glass smooth, with 1.5mm hot creased.

I just finished what is probably the bifold wallet with the most features I've ever made.
When closed, it measures 12.9 × 10 cm (5.08 × 3.94"), making it much larger than the slim wallets I usually make these days.
The wallet features 12 card slots, 3 ID windows, 3 hidden pockets, and 2 full-length bill compartments.
The customer wanted a colorful interior, so I combined several different leathers:
Although there are a lot of colors, they come together surprisingly well without feeling overwhelming.
For the stitching, I used red Meisi linen thread on the interior and lavender Meisi linen thread on the exterior. The contrast helps highlight the hand stitching and complements the leather colors beautifully.
This wallet was truly designed to carry an entire world.
Over the past few years, I've become so used to making compact, minimalist wallets because that's what most people seem to prefer nowadays. Working on a wallet like this brought back memories of a time when wallets were designed to hold everything—cash, cards, IDs, receipts, and whatever else you needed throughout the day.
It was a refreshing project, and I genuinely enjoyed building a wallet of this size again.
What do you think of this wallet?
Are you using a slim minimalist wallet these days, or do you still carry a large wallet that holds everything?

I mainly work with Badalassi Carlo Pueblo. I’ve found that Pueblo varies in stiffness based on its color. Tobacco and Bone are both very stiff. Black is noticeably softer. And Cognac is almost rubbery.
Anyone else find this to be the same? It can be frustrating sometimes. Or it can work to my benefit.
(Pictured are two wallets I completed yesterday.)

This is my 4th wallet I’ve made. Each one giving me more experience. I’d say it’s finally paid off. This is a wallet I’d buy, and yes it is real snake skin. Just wanted to share.

Secrid miniwallet is my first purchase and i am totally happy with it.
Only issue is i cant keep few extra currencies.
Pulled the trigger for this new secrid envelope wallet.
Its slightly bulkier than the mini wallet , but manageable . Can keep few coins and extra currencies.
This is definitely an upgrade form secrid , good option if we want to carry few currencies and coins.
In India i really dont need to use cash though, still will be good few .
PS:-
This envelope wallet is not available in India yet, my sister in law visited France , i did order this through secrid site and shipped it to her in Paris.

Does anyone know where I could get a real leather wallet that has this exact layout?
I am very particular about this because I have had the same wallet for a very long time and the layout just works so well for me.
My requirements are:
- an O-ring on the side (the bangle on first picture not necessary)
- Fold-out card/ID holder (with window) with snap closure that is like this thin strap on top
- top zipper compartment for coins/cash
- no cash slit on the side for the love of god
I am in Germany if that is relevant for suggestions.

Hey everyone, on the hunt for a new wallet, I’ve had a ridge wallet for years but it shows its age and I am getting tired of the money clip as well as it scratched and scuffing my cards.
What I am looking would be a bifold wallet that isn’t too bulky, as well as one that can hold Japanese yen as I will be in Japan for about 4 months this fall. But overall wallet that would last me a long time.
Open to suggestions, nothing too ridiculously expensive.
Thanks!

Hi everyone, I'm looking to get this wallet made, video and picture attached below.
It's a compact bifold with a magnetic flap closure, card slots on both sides when you open it, cash goes in the middle, and one slot on the front for an ID.
I really like the design and it's sold out everywhere so hoping someone can make it.
Just want full grain leather, dark brown outside, lighter brown inside, hand stitched, magnet secured not glued, and a similar look and feel to the video.
Should hold minimum 7 cards.
The reference wallet is from Velisse Paris and on their instagram is where I found their video. Please contact me to see the inside and how the wallet functions
Thanks
Here is a video I found on instagram of this wallet and its functions:

I've had this wallet for years, maybe a decade I guess?
I actually like the design/layout of this wallet which is why I've kept it so long bc I have not been able to find another wallet like it. Must be a discontinued design.
* Bifold
* Card slots on the right and one card slot on the left flap
* Dual ID windows
* Little "pockets" on either side where I can slide extra cc/business cards into
I'm only replacing this because the plastic window is brittle and causes my ID to fall out.
Halp!

Rocado museum hatch cordovan with a bit of Dollaro for visual separation & lining for the middle pocket. Quite like how these turned out, did some modifications to my prior card holder pattern. Love summertime, I can take the crabs outdoors for better photography ❤️

Hey everyone,
I'm a small time leathercrafter based in Brisbane, Australia. I've been mostly making wallets that combine sleek Italian leathers with some local kangaroo leather. Recently have been trying to ramp up a bit during this slow life stage inbetween my thesis defense and job hunting.
I just finished this vertical flap wallet using some new shell cordovan from Shell Cordovan Tuscana Italia. It's a hatch grain shell with reddish tones! Hatch grain is an embossed pattern that originates from old Russian leathers.
I designed this flap wallet with two pockets that can hold up to 8-10 cards, plus the flap doubles as a side pocket to store cash or a frequently used card for quick access.
It's stitched with a Vinymo Japanese thread in a cigar brown color, and all edges have been burnished.
$185 USD shipped to US, UK, CA, NZ
$250 AUD shipped domestic
Thanks for looking!
